Actually what you should of stated who is the worst MMO Developer Ever and for that award it is hands down SOE. They claim to listen to their player base but then they do stuff like force Vanguard SOH to release way to early, implement patches like Combat Upgrade, and the dreaded New Game Enhancements. I have jokingly stated to several friends that if you told SOE that they actually had a player base they would be probably suprised, because their actions in the games I have played by(SWG, Matrix Online, EQ2, and Vanguard) them tell me they dont think they have a player base.
"Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But many of us have chosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future, then what sort of future is it, and what will we have become? There is no future for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped with blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"
It's not listed, but I'm going with Dungeons & Dragons Online. Turbine got their hands on a license with nearly limitless possibilities, and they half-assed it. Actually, it's more like they quarter-assed it. And from what I've read, it looks Turbine has done very little to expand the game. Oh well, hopefully a more creative team of developers will one day get the chance to make a true D&D MMO, a Forgotten Realms setting would be awesome.

I agree, instead of using a known adventure line that everyone knows like Dragonlance or Forgotten Realms, they go an use one that no one has any clue about. I am a die hard D&D fan stretching all the way back to 2.0 Edition Rule Set. If it werent for AD&D I dont think I would of ever touched the Fantasy Genre. When Turbine came out with the news statement that they had acquired the D&D license I thought "WOW my fav game is being made into a MMO". Then when they came out with their going to use the Eberron story arc I thought "WTF why not use and grow upon ones that are already known". I played through all 3 Beta Stages and through several content additions and my thought was and still is why couldnt of BioWare created D&D Online. THey have created every D&D CRPG out and the games they create are the one of the best out, next to the Elder Scrolls series.

You know you are right that is great IP to have and they did ...well they sorta did like what the movies did with DND..instead of making an awesome movie they added a wayans brother.
Also I voted WAR. I loved DAOC . I started with EQ but DAOC is when I hit my MMO prime I would say and well WAR was just a huge disapointment. I still have hope but I don't know

Well if it's worst games I've never played, I can't go by your list as I've played every single one of those mmo's!!! lol You also didn't indicate if you meant mmo or all games in general. I think worst games of all time I've never played would have to be ET. If your looking at MMO's and not all games in general than Everquest 1.
I played ET, it was sad. Just terrible, but most of the old atari games were bad just fun to goof around on. Remeber the old Adventure game they had with the 3 dragons: green red and gold?
Sence worse offline games were commented about Ill add 5
1) Kiss Psycho Circus Nightmare Child(Kiss's Shot at a FPS and fails)
2) Daikatana(Made by Eidos the same people who brought the kick ass game series Tomb Raider)
3) Sanity: Aiken's Arifact
4) Quake 3 Arena
5) Revolutiion X(Aerosmiths shot at a Arcade Shooter game and fails)
I have all but the 5th one and I refuse to give them away because the simple fact that I dont want to inflict the torture of boredom on anyone else. If you want a picture of the ones you dont know Ill email them to you.

None of those games are particularly bad except by modern big budget MMO standards. Why don't you do the world a favor and stop posting? Stop posting here, and then once you've got the hang of it stop posting at every other website too.
einexile the meek Vacuos, Winterlong, Vaciante, Eicosapenta Atlantean, Tyranny, Malton
That is the opposite to what you should vote. If you never played something you dont have the knowledge enough of it, a free trial is at least the minimum.
Also, Atlantica wasnt on the list... Neither many other games like TR who deserved to be there, all the game on the list at least have some good points.
Can be confusing and in my opinion is just a fancy screensaver, spent more time afk than actually playing.
World of Warcraft - 16.5%
Big patches don't seem as frequent now (6 months out and only 1 new raid wtf?), when anything is this popular it tends to feel generic. The rust on this juggernaut is setting in.
Star Wars Galaxies - 15.2%
CU patch still hurts, now plays like a poor FPS with a lobby
Age of Conan - 12.7%
Brave move making making 1-20 single player, graphics really are awesome. Much improved and bloody. Will soon be filled with high-pitched spotty teens courtesy of xbox live
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - 11.4%
Genuinely offered something new, EA published Earth and Beyond (cancelled), Hellgate London (cancelled) and this (which was cancelled then wasn't). Wouldn't surprise anyone if it was cancelled, which would be a tragedy.
Vanguard: Saga of Heroes - 10.1%
Was in beta and my PC couldn't cope. Can't really comment.
Everquest II - 6.3%
In terms of content hard to bash, at least with each expansion newcomers get previous ones free. Something Blizzard will never do.
Lord of the Rings Online - 3.8%
Slowly being wowified, stop listening to what people think they want Codemasters.
City of Heroes - 2.5%
Never played
Guild Wars - 2.5%
Played a lot when released, great game best music in any MMO. Sunscription free, buying skills online has left a tarnish on an otherwise fantastic game.
Those are actually pretty good games >.> . there are far worse games than what you listed but since you asked "What's the "worst game ever" that you never actually played?" i'll go with age of connan(since i didn't play it :P)

How can i vote if Darkfall is not on the list?
I've played all those games you got listed there. and you forgot to put darkfall on there, that has to be the worst game ever that i never played.
Fasaria World, needs to be on the top of the list.
played them all, so I guess I cant vote :P
Currently restarting World of Warcraft
damn i've played all of those...
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
AoC since it is the only one I haven't played.

As far as worst games I have never played I'd probably go with SWG after the changes.
Did everyone pick Eve Online not because the Sandbox mode dosn't fit them but because they just can't get past the tutorial?
I missed Tabula Rasa.
So I voted Warhammer Online. That one was coming second on my list of worst games ever.
Cheers
