Just want to mention these problems wont stop me from playing Aion. Its the only game let me have interest to play another MMORPG after I quit Wow. And I really hope them add more quests, Aion have ok amount of quests but not enough for a quest grind(er?) like me.

and...How to buy other faction's gear in Chinese =_=..
Please comment what you think.

I read your article and many of the things you listed dont bother me.
1. PVP unbalance-well...it happens. Warhammer tried to fix it by giving people incentives to level play on the least represented faction, but ultimately, people are going to play what they want. Sure it sucks when you are outnumbered, but some people like playing the underdog. There really is no fix.
2. Class unbalance- It seems your main issue is the archer. Well, if im not mistaken, I thought there were abilities that pulled people out of the air. That seems to be the solution. Maybe I was given bad information.
3.the class assassin- Well, dont play assassin then. This guy seems to have no problem with it.
4. Yes, commas would help.
5. I personally would prefer no level restrictions in pvp. If its true what they say about the 1.2 change, then I hope they take it out.
6. That loot rule seems odd.
7. That rule sound appropriate.
8. I do not know how this plays out. Again I heard there are abilities to knock your opponent out of the air and bring them to the ground.
9. Maybe it will be more organized in the future but I dont know.
Im glad you did not list a single gamebreaking issue. I am looking forward to Aion.
My thoughts as well, Havok
- RPG Quiz - can you get all 25 right?
- FPS Quiz - how well do you know your shooters?
Well said, my thoughts too.
Now Playing: Guild Wars 2/ Diablo 3
Couldn't have said it better. Looks like to me the OP leveled up, got to the abyss then found out he sucked at PvP.
First. have you played Assassin in Aion past level 25.
Second. try play assasin with delay and see how well you can do, dont tell me you dont have any delay playing on Chinese server.
Third. what is Pvp in your eye? I havnt really went to gank anyone, instead I was getting gank all the time untill I found out how to radar other faction.(anyone know how to use radar can tell you from 100m away if you try to use any buff, having fun try to gank)
Four. Please teach me a way to fight back against Archer when he attack you on air or try to escape w/o using the 3000DP move or debuff remove pot.
And how you tell I sucked at Pvp? cuz i got killed?you know It could be their level are higher than me, gears better than me. Since you know nothing stop thinking you know me.
p.s I really hate seeing people using the word(suck) and judge people their skill just because people complain about certain class.
I wish PvPvE in an Abyss was original

Sin's are a hard class to play at the lower lvls, But they make up for it at the end.
I also do not like lvl restrictions when it comes to pvp. Faction vs faction should be just that "see the enemy - kill the enemy" no matter the lvl.
Hard to judge balance because i'm not at end game and I cannot base my judgement on getting ganked (don't know the lvl of the players).
The core focus of the game is not solo pvp but for group pvp. Solo at your own risk.
Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

The problem is that in RL,we have AGE not levels.Just because one person is older does not mean they would have a distinct advantage in PVP,this is why in games it needs to be held under wraps, with restrictions, since they are using levels, witch is an unrealistic feature .You have to look at another idea of PVP as well, what is the purpose or challenge of a player killing another player with ZERO chance of losing?that would be the same as doing PVE against a level 1 mob when you are level 20,would you expect to receive no challenge like that in a game and receive skill points or XP based on killing a non formidable foe?
Of course you would not expect that,so why expect it in PVP, i would think EVERY player wants even a remote challenge from PVP,not an AUTO i win because i have a higher level.Gaming is EXACTLY like a sport, you are competing. Can you imagine if every scenario that comes about in a sport was based on the players age?i mean it would be beyond ridiculous,so i really am baffled as to why people want such a ridiculous idea in PVP as no restrictions. Now if the game or any game uses NO levels,or distinct advantages based on level, then of course a "no restriction rule" is a good thing.I wanted to point out the obvious, because i know how people like to argue or defend without thinking the obvious.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Assassin is really strong in pvp in later levels.Four. Please teach me a way to fight back against Archer when he attack you on air or try to escape w/o using the 3000DP move or debuff remove pot.
Using yellow debuff remove pot is part of pvp in Aion. Same with hp/mp potions, scrolls. You cannot skimp on them and expect to perform well in pvp.
And i hope they add more dungeons for a dungeon grinder like me...

News flash Wizardry : It's NOT real life....
If you want a non-lvl based game then go play Darkfall or a FPS.
Your logic (or lack there of) is flawed.......Take two fighters in a room with knives. One is a 18 year old kid fresh out of high school, The other is a 38 navy seal with many missions under his belt....who wins ???
The kid has no chance because he lacks the exp and training. (he is just not a killer)

Actually, most new FPS games now incorporate leveling systems. It seems that these days people actually want a way to advance themselves in all different types of games, not just mmorpgs. Truthfully, I like it this way, and always get annoyed when people are so ridiculously lazy they refuse to put any effort into anything and demand to be given everything for nothing.

Actually, despite being a fan of Aion, I'm going to come ot the OP's defense. Class balance is a work in progress though, so that's just something to be expected throughout the existance of the game, not just up until its release. Also, Archers spent most of the game time up until now being UNDERpowered, and even now they're not what you'd call powerful. If anything, they're much more in-balance, and even with autoshoot their damage isn't anything to write home about (not like in l2 where 1-2 hits from an archer kills you). They focus on traps and such, so that they can silence and pull people out of the air makes sense. You can't really complain because each class has a way to stop you in your tracks, same goes for the comments on the Assassin.
Other than that, I agree with most of what was said. Commas would help, you'd be surprised how useful it is until you don't have it, the market needs to be better organized, and as one side gains popularity the other side will get ganged, but that part is to be expected...not much can be done about that. You're gonna get ass raped whether you like it or not, my only suggestion is to carry lube.
EDIT: Forgot to address a few other things
1) Yes it sucks that Spirit Master pets can't fly, but the reason for that is they are arguably the most powerful class while on the ground. In exchange for that power, their weakness is in flight. They have skills to pull flyers to the ground, so if you're an SM and think you're in a dangerous area, stay on the ground and pwn whoever is near you before taking off. You can't be 100% powerful 100% of the time, there's got to be a tradeoff otherwise people would be bitching you're OP.
2) Not being able to grind loot off lower mobs just sucks ;- I understand the idea behind it, so higher people aren't ksing lowbies, but it still makes difficult. Perhaps after time when the game's been out for a while, resources will be more in supply and the economy will balance things out, so buying those lower level resources off of other players doesn't hurt your wallet too much and adds to that 'trickle-down' effect that seems to work better in video games than in real life.
3) Power Leveling is the only thing I don't agree with. With a level cap of 50, 4 levels max difference in party members is not unrealistic. It's already extremely easy to level up, if you need to be power leveled in a game that takes only weeks to reach cap at, you need to grow up.
"Forums aren't for intelligent discussion; they're for blow-hards with unwavering opinions."
For PvP balance they stated that they are looking into race locks if on side gets to big than the other.
As an assassin yes the early levels will be somewhat a learning experience.
The lastest patch that is out in Korea has penalties for killing low levels.
Some of the other things i'm sure are being lookined into for the western territories.
Like I mention I found out you can radar other faction player from 100meter away, i going to let you know so you could have upper hand when getting gank/try to gank. Basically you turn on other faction's player combat/skill/buff detail in your Chat window, I believe its call setting ----> third party setting then check all three with Other faction. I only check one but you can check all but it' will be a mass spam, so its up to you to decide.
This is not hack or illegal or w/e third party program, so dont deleted this post! And yeah if everyone knew this Assassin will even have more hard time try to gank. Im not sure if casting stealth would get detectived, cuz i never got gank by Assassin in abyss. Any thing with attack a mob and cast buffs will let other faction recive the warning from 100m away....-.-
If you know it already then its good for you, stop saying like what a noob everyone knew that.
