LFG that has a 'melee healer', IE: the Warrior Priest from Warhammer is pretty much perfect, however I kind of dislike warhammer.
I want the game to have PvP, doesn't have to be massive, just the ability to pvp.
I want the game to have decent PvE.
any help would be appreciated

AOC, EQ2, and Vanguard (I believe) have melee healers.
Aion has chanters which are melee oriented healers.
More of a buffer/support type role than an actual healer, but yes, that is another option.
I would definately suggest you check out the Bear shaman class in Age of Conan.
I second that thought
Vanguard - Cleric. Pretty fun class and very melee orientated
If you can find a game whose community doesn't give you grief by allowing you to melee, let me know. I liked the WP too, but too many groups demanded me to heal, ignoring the fact that warrior priests are best when keeping their points up via melee. You could not be as efficient spending a portion of your time praying to get those points up
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
you will never ever EVER find a melee healer that is built / controls like a DoK / WP.
Believe me, I tried.
one of the few things wowhammer got absoloutly Perfect.
The classes in Warhammer were all pretty excellent in terms of general mechanics and the feel of the class. And the game would of been so much more enjoyable if it wasn't AOE, AOE, AOE, AOE, AOE. But the classes were all designed well other than that.
The Vanguard healers were a lot of fun on the trial, and my brother still swears by his Disciple.

yea the spam one button AOE wars kinda killed it, although should of seen it coming with how some of the maps were made with so many choke points and how many people would be in the specific area at any specific time..... and fk lv 1-11 brightwizards.
Have you tried Rohan? The Dragon Fighter class (Dekan) is a melee type that can change into either Dragon Knight or Dragon Sage. The Dragon Fighter has a skill that heals depending on your hp. When you change into either Dragon Knight or Dragon Sage you will gain a skill that can resurrect fallen allies. It also has various builds so just try and experiment. Hope I could be of some help.
The chanter from Aion looks exactly like what I want, but sadly I have to wait for it to get to NA.
AoC - Computer can't run it.
RoM - According to my friend, in order to PvP you need to spend lots of money on the cash shop, so I'll pass this ( he's spent $700 on his guy so far -.- )
EQ2 - Just recently quit, as my guild decided to move on.
Vanguard - Haven't tried it too much, so maybe I will at some point.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
You can play Aion on the chinese server using an english translation patch. A new region has opened and it will be free for 15 days, enough time for you to try out the Chanter and other classes you like ^^
If your comp cannot handle AoC, it will be just as bad with Aion
Aion: Chanter's skill list aionsource.com/wiki/Chanter_Skills Note: these skills only go up to lvl31 and does not show lvl50 (max cap) skills.

Not true, Aion scales very well and the graphics in AOC are much better and more demanding from what I see and hear.
