How Long Does It Take To Hit The Cap?

Compared to other games, like WoW or EQ2, is WAR's leveling slow or fast? Around how many hours of /played time does it usually take to hit the cap in this game? Thanks.

Condsidering the vast (yet slightly boring after a while) amont of things that you can do it wouldn't take you very long. In WoW its pretty much a linear quest system and holds pretty much no immersion. The one thing (among some other positives - but WAR still has a long way to go mind you until it would attract more players) they do good is the fact that there is numerous ways to level. I for one really love this system. There are a number of ways such as : Scenario's which you gain loads of experience points without having to get into reading all the quests and such. There is normal questing ofc which in my opinion is much better than one. Public question which is always fun -  you can earn good treasure and a fair amount of experience points. I quit Warhammer around 3 weeks ago. I found it fun but as many of us believe they didn't do what Paul Barnnet (The guy wo hyped warhammer online to hell) and they just didn't really deliver.

WAR can still improve itself I believe if they add a decent end game :)

I capped in under a month. Granted, I was on vacation at the time and played at least 6 hours a day.

The leveling is about the same as those games you mentioned. So maybe 50 hours play to go from rank 1-40.

However this is assuming you focus on one character and does not reroll (like I have :) ).

Also you have to grind alot more to get capped renown rank and high end gear.

That being said I feel this game leveling pace is much quicker than other games but that is because you can get large amounts of your exp through plaging PvP scenarios which are 100% PvP. And, for me atleast, doing PvP is alot more fun than grinding PvE mobs.

Indeed. When I was first starting to play I got around 6 levels by scenarios alone. There really is a whole load of stuff that WAR online gives you to level. I quit after 21 but I would actually go back if they improved end game. I had a fairly decent time. It was always cool to me to be showing of in a raid at like level 10 where any one of my freinds would be on an Alt in WoW and be doing solo linear questing. I think they done good with the amount of things they had to offer xp wise.

I have been playing since launch and I am at Rank 35.  Should hit 36 sometime soon.  RR is 30.

I recall having some troubles getting through the early stages of the 2nd tier when doing normal quests, and so, I did some RvR and some Public Quests, and all of a sudden, ranks got high faster than I imagined, and I'm grateful for the fact that there are so many ways to increase our level.
