If you don't care for RO s'ok but why bash the game and the fans?

I will get right to my point.  How would you feel if a member went to your MMORPG discussion board and starts bashing the game and the players?  Yes, everyone has their favorite games.  Naturally we all will get somewhat offended when name calling comes into play.  If you don't like the game, then critique it.  That might even help people decide whether to play it or not.  But new players want facts, not bias name calling and insults.  Just open a topic and list the pro's and con's of the game, or if you "hate" the game then be mature and list reasons. 

It's unecessary to just bash the game and it's fans the way so many of you do.  And more over, to have the balls and ego to call those who play the game idiots, loser, morons etc., what does that accomplish? If you get off by insulting and provoking arguements then go elsewhere.  If you wish to list the bad traits and qualities of the game then do so without acting like your twelve.  There's a difference between discussing and insulting.  Yes we are all entitled to our opinion, but just calm down, and be mature.

I couldn't agree more with the opinion of Osiris.  What he has shared is something commonly seen. When some player has certain unhappiness with the game, these players tend to just bash and condamned the game just to feed their own injured ego.  It is not just for this game but for many other games as well. I see in the game review and discussion threads things like this game is horrible, must give zero rating, everything is bad...it is not difficult to see that the person who post this is just being plain childish and bias, aiming just to demage the game and its players.

Whatever the reasons, such behaviours are unacceptable. Of course one is free to express personal opinion, but such opinion has to be substantiated with facts and information. Doing this to game review is bad enough ut to extend to name calling of its players is worse. As the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison. What a person dislike may just be the preference of another.

I am not saying we cannot point out the short comings of a game. We should, in fact, do so for all games we play so that improvements can be made. Hence, constructive criticism is definitely encouraged. Postings of negative comments should be something like 'the graphics of the game is ...... and thsi tend to ...... Suggest that .....changes be made or ..... be look into to make the graphics better.' Making blank allegations does nto help the game nor the gaming community at large to see better mmorpg for all of us to have fun. Hence, I personally would question the motive of leveling blank allegations or blanket negative statements.

Ultimately, we are all hoping to see better and better games for us to enjoy. True and dedicated gamers would defnitely agree with me to adopt the attitude / approach of affirming or pointing out stengths of various games to be build upon and suggests ideas for negatives to be address so that all of us have better games and mmorpg to look forward to.
