Cant seem to run in windows vista?

Anyone else having this problem? It get stuck at checking, I went to the site and the only suggestion they had was to run as admin, which I tried but with the same result.

The servers still aren't live yet. You'd know this if you went to the official WE forums and checked. We're all having this problem right now...
I did go to the offical fourms, and was only able to read there frist few posts there which had the info about running as an admin. when I tired to read futher to see if anything new had poped up it switched me to the non English site or refused to load the pages for some reason.
anyway glad to know that its just the servers havent come online yet.

Actually the servers have been Live since 1:07AM 5/20/09.
I was logged in and played for two hours this morning without a single problem, had the "checking" issue once, restarted launcher and it proceeded without any problems at all.
You probably have a firewall up.
I wouldn't even bother, I don't normally rant on a game or anything.. but this game was just BAD. I have a dual core 3.0ghz, 4g, SLI 8800GT (2) and it was choppy, freezing, and it just had plain bad graphics. The movement was really annoying, worse than resident evil for the the ps1.
game isnt choppy movement isnt that bad.. use wsad, takes 20s to get used to.. graphics aint something special, but certainly not bad , tho the fact that loby games doesnt seem to start, in any of atleast 5 attempts i had.. was bit silly,
i did finally manage to get it running but lost intrest in it in just over an hour, its ok just not my thing.
