Cooking mama vs Lotro

Yesterday I was playing and I was in the shire picking up 6 apples on the ground for a quest.

Then my girlfriend next to me said to me this game was ridiculous and I was a sissy. Actually I quite often laught at her all the time because she plays cooking mama, cake mania, well you know those kind of silly games. Makes me wonder how lotro is that different.

There is no incentitative to group and the other day I had to finish a deed, deliver 12 pies in the shire. Is this game for a young audience? So far, feels like a second job. Only reason I still play is for content later on.

It's the shire... it's meant to be hobbity { Mod Edit: Language }. If you know anything about LoTR, you would have already known this  :)

Yeh roll an elf/dwarf/human you will find more hardwaring depressing quests :P e.g "can't you leave me to my misery" instead of "its a lovely day" now deliver pies.

Some people are hooked to lotro purely cause of the way hobbits are portrayed and they are alot of fun too if you don't take things too seriously ofc.

LOL, there is a game for cooking?? ROTFL.

You should really encourage your girl to cook IRL, that's even better fun, and beneficial to both of you as well :)

Sorry, just pulling your leg .)

Most zones are a lot more "adventurous" than the Shire (save for the very last zone in the game, oddly, where you will be encouraged to do exciting things like pick grapes, gather chalk,  and meditate).  You might find the man starting area more to your tastes, for example.  Group quests also have much better rewards than solo quests.  You wouldn't know that yet because the game lets you get your feet wet with fairly easy solo quests before it starts throwing group quests at you.

I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.

Don't bother with the Man starting area. I'm sure more potential subscribers have been claimed by leveling in Bree-land than this game has ever had in actual subscriber numbers.
