The Order Of Mithril Twilight
The Order of Mithril Twilight was founded by Duke Theobane Endsong and Canoness Lady Kurumi Shepchild on October 6th of 2003. The name of our Guild was taken from the story surrounding it's creation. It is derived from Our Lady Twilight and her Greatsword, Seraph-Mithril, hence the name The Order of Mithril Twilight. We are a roleplaying guild dedicated to the eradication of the Undead off the face of this world and more importantly, our old home of Lordaeron. Expect our forces to be amongst those crashing into the horde lines that will lie in shallow graves as we retake various towns and assault and attempt to retake our old capital. We do this in the name of lost love ones and friends, we do this for our lost King and brethrens, we do this to rid the world of this blight, to destroy the corruption of undeath, to free any souls and minds tainted and twisted under the corruption of an eternal undeath. Only through the victory of the Alliance over the Horde and the utter elimination of the undead cancer shall there be a lasting peace for everyone. We will kill and die for our cause, let there be no mistake about that. Lordaeron shall be purified once again.
We believe in carrying ourselves honorably and assist our brethrens and sisters in distress, be they of our own or of our allies. Our undead adversaries however will not find the same merciful kindness at the end of our manifested will.
Our nobler members adhere to a sense of chivalry. Some of us are agents living only in the shadows to assist those of us that are in the light. Generally you are free to roleplay your character as you wish under certain guidelines which are specified in our enlistment requirements. If you wish for assistance in how to roleplay your character, we are here to assist you to become a good roleplayer.
We prefer to play with civil minded players, you do not need to be the smartest person in the world, so long as you know how to respect others, you will be welcome to join us for our discussions and roleplaying forum as well as in game. At present we have a unit of "Inquisitors" as our elite "Special Ops" soldiers being worked on as a specialized anti-undead section of our forces. Details maybe found on our forum as we continue to develop this idea further.
Our website is under construction and is slated to be rehauled with new artwork sometime during the fall. It will also be updated with new guild content that was recently developed on this forum by active participants of this guild.
Currently I am painting digital character portraits of members who receives a rank of Captain or higher in our guild. Further artwork on the wish list includes small generic character portraits to be used as avatars and signatures exclusively for the members of the Order.
We also plan to join a small alliance of like minded guilds to increase our chance in securing our end goal (It is not possible to retake Lordaeron, the game does not allow it, however it gives us an eternal goal to keep us preoccupied when we are playing and make our roleplayed enemies' lives close to hell), generally I dislike larger alliances. Also we intend to roleplay some events with WoW-RA and Only-WoW horde/undead guilds for some fantastic battles or story driven crisis.
We intend to have player journals that will be published onto our website. We encourage active participations in roleplaying related activities including our roleplaying forums, developing character history, telling tales/fan fiction, and other artistic/literary pursuits related to World of Warcraft and the Order.
The Order will be located on a roleplaying server and will be adhering to roleplaying rules. We intend to be roleplaying alongside with the guilds of the WoW-Roleplaying Association and Only-WoW.
