Enough people to potentially make the game fun to play?

hey all I just got the game off gogamer for 4.90$ usd...figured since that was just pocket change to me i'd give it a try for 30 days instead of lingering on 14 days from the trial. who knows i might just play for 14 days and add my 30 day code. anyway, which server is most populated(pve preferable)so i can at least have people to play with?

also, would anyone be interested in rolling a new character with me? ill be completely new to this game.

i made my first char in VG today and rolled on Halgar, and it wasnt empty, actually there was more people than i expected. Everyone keeps saying how the island is deserted, which is shame, cause it only contribute to new players NOT wanting to try the game out. i must say i was positively surprised.

EU prime time on Halgar server and there will always be 40+ people on the trial Island, Ive checked this daily for the past 2 weeks since I resubed, Its growing in population and alot of it is NEW blood!

I'm EU playing NA server Seradon, I guess it would be mid morning to mid evening PST that I see (I play from around 1:00pm on and off untill 2:00am BST) and on the Island there is never any less than 120 people on there, this was a weekend and holiday monday so maybe that has counted for some numbers, on the main island there is around 100 people to every level bracket say 10-20, 20-30 etc. All in all theres never fewer than 200 online and at peak times on weekends i'd say it reaches 2000 people possibily. Its like EQ population. Some zones are dead some zones are jam packed full.

On another note, on the island you will never struggle to group, the two dungeon esque zones there is there is always around 20 people within killing.

You don't need alot of players on if you're playing a disciple.  Mine just goes around beating the crap out of people with no breaks in between.

I don't know but of the like 10-12 people I have brought into the game every single one of them has quit thier old games and have already subscribed to Vanguard and life is good... Now if we can convince SOE that they have a winner on thier hands, life will be really good.

No idea on total subscriptions.  But I play on Seradon and it's very busy, pushing 1000 online during primetimes.  I've heard Xeth is doing very well too.
