Id like to solo fast, so I can blaze through the content to get ready for the EU or US release. I know a lot of you will say Sorcerer..but Id like a hybrid class..Both DPS And Heal..Though I guess sorcerer might be my only option if I chose solo leveling

    As I understand it, Spirit Master is superior to Sorc as far as solo leveling...

    However, since you asked for dps AND heals, I think you already know the answer.

    In all honesty, you're not really going to blow through the levels too quick.  After level 25 or so, the game (as it stands right now) becomes really grindy.  The latest patch for Korea has fixed that slighty.  If you're going to play the Chinese Retail, I'd tell you to play a class you're actually going to enjoy - in the end, you're going to hit the same grind as everyone else.  In general though, if you're looking for "soloability", then you can't really go wrong on any choice you pick.  All the classes right now are pretty solo-friendly.

    Well, that's what most people say.  Generally the Spiritmaster population in China Retail is like, 2% of the population - so not many people really know about them.  I've been playing my Spiritmaster for 32 levels and I can tell you that a Sorc is just as good soloing as me.  As far as healing and dps - I've been plesantly surpised with the few Chanters I've seen, they generally grind pretty quick with all their buffs.  That's from an outsider looking in though - I've never played one so I can't really say for certain.

    Cleric has good DPS and the best heals in the game. Chanter is the hybred class but don't lvl as fast as Sorcerer, SM, or Cleric.

    I only say SM over Sorc because I hear tales of SMs who can take on several mobs and even solo elites. None of that coming from any of the sorcs I know. Not that it means otherwise.

    AFAIK Clerics get nerfed in patch 1.2 as for a patch notes for that I haven't been able to find any oddly enough. I would say if you want to grind it out play a Spiritmaster if you want the grindy / questy / healy side of things go with a chanter. If you want to bot play a glad and be prepared to spend a FORTUNE on armor and etc. The last one was a joke if anyone didn't get that.

    Chanters do ok, They still need to take alchemy for a craft in order to make mp pots so they can grind non stop (all classes should really). My chanter is lvl34 and my MP mantra only regen's 17 MP every 6 sec's (so in other words it's not high enough to grind non stop). I think it gets upgraded at lvl37 and will do mid 20s or low 30s every 6 sec's but still low.

    Mantra's are always active, they are cast and forget and cost zero mp. You can have a max of 3 mantra's active (you can have more if you party with another chanter).

    Warrior

    Gladiator = kill machine lol

    Templar = Tanker

    Rogue

    Assassin = high dps,

    Ranger = long range dps,

     Priest

    Cleric = true healer

    Chanter = more like a Templar + Cleric, with so much buff, not a popular class.

    Mage

    Sorcerer = True Mage, got the most damage in magic.

    Spiritmaster = summoner,

    i think the only class can heal is the priest.
