New Game 2029 by IGG

Been playing the Alpha. This game goes into Beta on Saturday. THis is a somewhat RTS, comewhat FPS, based online game. For Alpha is was nearly release ready. The game play is very soomth, graphics was above average to great, and the game felt good. Not since DAOC back many years ago have I been excited about the game play which is sometimes missing. The crafting system is a bit odd, but only played for 12-15 hours so maybe it is not that bad. Wished they had quest surrounding the crafting system. Gonna form a guild in Alpha tomorrow so I can get a feel for that interface.

There is no grinding of where to locate the target, just click on the hyperlink and presto you are in transit. Same way to turn in a mission. This game may not be for everyone, but it is FREE TO PLAY, not sure but heard the CD will cost like $10. This is much nicer than most IGG games so check it out when the Open Beta starts, or check out the forums on how to get a Closed Beta Key.

 Is one of these MMO's that has a weird system to join.  The first, second and third thing you see is a forum.  I hate to register on yet another forum.  I could accept register on a dev's website, but on 3, 4 or 5 forums is like a pain.   I will check the game again wen enter soemthing like OpenBeta.  If this thing still exist (openbeta)

Wow I was just about to take a peak at the website for 2029 until I read your post on the mass signups...I also cant stand that and find it the most annoying feature

You only need to be an IGG members actually. However it seems to get a CB key you have to prty much advertise the game on other forums, ie this one.
