I just got a new computer.  Athlon xp 3200 radeon 9600xt 256vram 1gig ram, nothing fancy. I installed Rome: Total war and on the campaign map and during battle there are unloaded textures, and purple boxes across my screen and green boxes on the ground. I installed joint ops typhoon rising and it was really bad icouldn't see anything just like white smears. Call of Duty looked like Rome, like with crates with only two sides and i could see through buildings and more purple squares across the screen and yellow rectangles in the sky.  There we also shapes on my screen that streched across the map.  I downloaded the newest drivers for my video card at ati.com.  My current verson is 6.14.0010.6476 and i have directx 9.0c. Does anyone have any ideas to fix my problem??

    Free cheats for Call of Duty if your into that kinda thing. :P At any rate I'm not too familiar with ATI cards but the newest drivers didn't fix the problem at all? Are they really new like a month old new? If they are try going back 1 or 2 drivers.

    I downloaded the one before the newest but theres no change.  Are there some settings i could change that would help?  Should i just call the company and see if they can help or replace it?

    if their not compatible with windows xp, right click on the shortcut of the game and go to compatibility and make it compatible with whatever the game is compatible with.

    Call of Duty single player works with a some sound stuttering but multiplayer fails to start up.  I get a "FATAL ERROR miles sound system initialization failed. The single player game does not work properly without sound, make sure you have your latest sound card drivers and directx installed." I have directx 9.0c and my sound is nvidia(R) nforce(TM) Audio version 5.10.2917.0000.

    well I got cd-key not valid message. something is wrong with this game. ::::12:: and same with the expansion pack United Offensive.
