Project Entropia Ruined???

I started playing Project Entropia three weeks ago. It seemed a good game and in the beginning it was. You have to deposit american dollars for in game PE-dollars. It is (or was) possible to start without any money, but this is very difficult. I deposited $20 at first and started as a miner. That money ran out very quickly, but I liked the game and I deposited another $20. I had some nice ore deposits and got some money back from the mining. Everything OK you would think.

Then they (MindArk the makers and owners of PE) published a new upgrade, which makes it impossible for newbies to get going in the game.

1. They reduced the way to get free ingame money to a level that it is nearly impossible to get a decent amount to buy some starter stuff.
2. They made the running speed dependent on your skills, so that creatures can easily catch newbies and it is nearly impossible for them to roam the world, which is necessary to get some money from mining or hunting.
3. They adjusted the looting system. Instead of giving a lot of creatures some loot, they give some creatures a lot of loot. Starting players that cannot go out and kill a lot of creatures have to be very lucky to get something in return. 

MindArk probably got to little money out of players and hope in this way that new players will keep depositing. Well, not me! I regret the fact that I deposited the $40.
A lot of older players by the way are also quiting the game. There is a lot of discussion on the PE forums. MindArk also seems to have lot of troubles with the new upgrade. Servers crash constantly and the lag is severe.

If you are interested in PE follow the discussions and wait until MA adjusts some things. As it is now the game is very poor and not worth playing. Keep away from it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i quit last year because i never paid a cent and i made over 40 peds in a mini raid with my friends then i lsot it all so i quit

Easy solution, do what I did...

Call your credit card company and chargeback it all. As long as it was a Visa or a MasterCard, chargebacks for Internet spending are FREE!!!

That game is sooo bad, the only way consumers are going to speak out is if they fight back. And a good weapon in fighting back is the chargeback. You will get your $40 back and the service fee may get charged to MA.

That will teach them to take your money with crap bugs and not do anything about it.

I wish that game would just go away... So many horror stories of people getting ripped off...
