$5 for Aion Closed Beta Key! For US ONLY

If you didn't know and were pretty much too stupid (hence asking for a closed beta key), you can head down to the good ol' ebgames or gamestop and PREORDER Aion and receive a key that grants access to -ALL- closed and open beta events.

To preorder and get the key, it only costs $5. Go do it now instead of posting useless threads! FOR US ONLY. Wow, if you don't have a ebgames or gamestop in your country or where ever you are....then of course you can't go to it to get one. Go Figure :)

    hmm, i know some people have gotten their beta keys that work for all beta events.. but does it work this weekend?

    cause official preorder date is 9th right? and this weekends beta event ends on the 9th... 

    Cant see why it shoudn't work, im just wondering...

    Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs.

    Looks like Sept 1st. all the websites that are selling it have that date listed. Let's hope it stays that date or moves up!

    there are two beta atm.....one for close beta which last 3days?

    Another beta which last........XX....days? You can get it from Pre-order the game, then cancel the Pre-Order after you got the code. lawl

    Ya the second one is open beta. They did the same thing for WAR; people could preorder, play the beta and cancel the preorder. It isn't some oversight on their part; I imagine more MMOs will be using open beta as previews since 1) They need to stress test the servers 2) If people have the chance to trial they're more likely to consider preordering in the first place.

    Not every gamestop is getting these preorder boxes, and ebgames and gamestop are not everywhere if you didn't know and were pretty much too stupid to think about that...

    Just checked the price of the taxi to airport and the flight cost to the US from Holland to get to gamestop and seems a bit much for the beta key.....Ohh yeah you thought gamestop was outside everyone's house.....

    They won't release keys untill the 9th at the earliest,the keys for pre order have nothing to do with the June 5-7 event as that was considered more of a media hands on test.

    The EU and NA Keys are not region locked so one could use a NA key for the EU beta if one so wished.

    Ok a little clarification. If you preorder from a physical store they are not going to magically send you anything you have to go hound the store until they get thier copies of the pre order packs in and then you will get one. I have done so at my local Gamestop and yes I can confirm it will work for this weekends event I have already downloaded the client and the account has been created and acknowledged by NC soft. If you do not live in an area or region with a local Gamestop or EB they also offer the codes for pre-orders online. Those however would not be mailed out until later and would not work for this weekend. I do not live outside the US and apologise if this does not work for other countries but it's the only way I could think for EU players to still get in early.

    Wow some people are morons. Here is the Step to be able to play Aion TOMORROW for 5 dollars.

    Step 1: Get up

    Step 2: Put clothes on

    Step 3: Drive to Ebgames or Gamestop

    Step 4: Preorder Aion and receive a beta key that grants all access to the beta events including the one that starts tomorrow

    Step 5: Go home

    SIMPLE!!!

    <Mod edit> I bought and registered my Beta key from Ebgames on the 3rd. Thats 6 days before the 9th if you couldn't count. Look at my screenshot of my account. Thank you :)

    Why is every one talking about going to the store i preordered mine online last week and got my beta code Friday in an Email. Im in the UK btw :)

     O and it didnt cost me anything to preorder..
