Because some of us that have fought for this country and can trace all of their relatives back to fighting for this country, still believes in the Constitution.

What is the point of the law if it is not upheld?

Why are people silenced when they ask the real questions instead of being provided answers. But hey, we know what species of dog the President is going to get for the kids.

YOU, me, and regular Joes with opinions mean nothing at all. That is why it MUST be settled in the courts. There has to be a rule of law and there has to be an official answer to these questions. These answers are being blocked.

I understand that you love your President. I know this. You choose a side and your side won, yay! I also know what it would mean if the people won in court and found out if he was born in Kenya like his Grandmother and siblings have said on tv.

The lawyer that has been pressing this the most is a DEM. It has NOTHING to do with political parties, it has EVERYTHING to do with the law of the land.

I made the Kenya comment as a joke anyways, it wasn't a green light for us to derail the thread. So I appoligise to the OP.

Perhaps this topic should be started in a new thread, but I'm sure it will be one-sided on this site.

To address the topic, I don't know what to think right now about Obama, he hasn't done anything yet. Lots of speeches but none of his "plans" have been put into action yet. Nothing major that is. I can do the math and give a prediction though, but that is not the question I suppose.

I'm sorry but I have some difficulty going along with this conspiracy theory notion of Obama not being an American citizen and thus not qualified to be President. It not that I love "my" President (like him or not he's also YOUR President as well) it's just I find him head and shoulders better then the last President. If you honestly believe that the Constitution and the guardians of the laws of this country will allow a man who's citizenship is even questionable, than I'm afraid you and your ancestor have fought and probably died for a country that exists only in your mind and not in reality. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I just think this is just another attempt to discredit a President who is unpopular with a minority sector of the population.

I am only going by the facts that have been presented in court.

Good ol' Barry Sorento denied that fact that he was registered as Islamic in an Indoneasian school. This is now public all of the sudden.

The same goes for his Muslim roots that he kept quite about until now.

Just like he did his best not to mention his middle name. First time someones full name wasn't printed on the ballot.

There are 89 million people supporting these investigations, that's more than all who voted for him.

I wonder if which passport he used this past week. Was it the same one that he used when he went to Pakistan when he was 20 years old? Because at that time, Americans couldn't travel to Pakistan.

These are facts. They raise questions for people. I'm one of them.

I'm not even going to bother with the rest of what you wrote, yiou don't need to explain your stance on American values, you are a hardcore liberal, I already know how you feel.

I don't even want to talk about this on this site. Clearly I lost this little debate, nobody here shares my concerns at all. Just don't come back with assumptions and scare tactics by using words like "conspiracy theory" because it doesn't scare me at all.

At least google what I'm talking about and maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal for you to understand why I have these questions.

Since you're the one making the accusation it's up to you to provide the evidence that support your "facts", not for me to go find it for you. Frankly it would take a lot more than just a few extreme, right-wing, liberal hating websites to convince me or even the alleged 86 million that you claim support an investigation, that your claims have a leg to stand on. If you're willing to put forth any reliable and unbiased evidence, I'll take a look at and make judgment then. Until then we just have your word on it and that's just not enough for a credible argument.

Good ol' Barry Sorento denied that fact that he was registered as Islamic in an Indoneasian school. You mean the Indonesian school between 1969 to 1971, when he was 8? Are you serious? Are you suggesting he walked into a school in the second grade and registered HIMSELF as a Muslim? At eight years old? This is now public all of the sudden.
The same goes for his Muslim roots that he kept quite about until now. He's never denied his father was a Muslim.
Just like he did his best not to mention his middle name. First time someones full name wasn't printed on the ballot.Because some whacko voters might think because his name is Hussein, that he is somehow related to Saddam.. which the conservatives tried to link.

Clearly I lost this little debate, nobody here shares my concerns at all.Wow, out of 89 million people calling for an "investigation", are you sure, lol? Just don't come back with assumptions and scare tactics by using words like "conspiracy theory" because it doesn't scare me at all.

It would be better for you to probably Google your own position and show proof instead of telling other people to do your research. That's usually a fail-type of presentation because no one wants to look up stuff that you won't link. or substantiate yourself if you don't want to do it.

    And btw:

Obama's book clearly talks about this time in his life as early as 1995, when his book was published.

"Obama has noted in his two books, "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope," that he spent two years in a Muslim school and another two years in a Catholic school while living in Indonesia from age 6 to 10."

It's not that "nobody here shares (your) concerns at all", it's just that they don't have merit.

There is no "Presidential Passport" lol. Just like I didn't have a "military passport" in the Marines when I went to 30 different countries, we just go and carry a copy of our orders on us. I'm talking about his Indoneasian Passport that he used to get into Pakistan by which time, Americans were not allowed in Pakistan AND the fact that Indoneasia doesn't allow a dual citizenship.

This was evidence presented in court. Which the court ruled, "The People has no right to question the Contitutional authorty of the law". Then the case was thrown out, along with the 3 other cases that same week.

How did you miss all of this? Seriously, you didn't know this was going on? Please, just take a look at what I'm talking about before you comment. You don't even have to agree with me, just acknowledge that yes, this is real and viiiviii is not crazy. I'm not even trying to argue who's right or wrong at this point.

Um, I am pissed. I don't even like these politicians. This is the biggest let down of all. I actually thought that Dick and Bush would get thrown in prison after Obama took Office.

Why do you people on this site ASSUME that everyone is either a Dem or Rep? Seriously.

I'm so frustarated, I can't wait until the big day arrives.

There is no "Presidential Passport" lol. There is a diplomatic passport, which is different than military. You didn't see the link I included, did you? Just like I didn't have a "military passport" in the Marines when I went to 30 different countries, we just go and carry a copy of our orders on us. Or you would have linked it. Speculation.

This was included in your first link as rebuttal to someone else. Did you see this rebuttal yet? The date on it is November 2008.

Fact Check. org on Obama's birth certificate.

Obama's birth was listed in the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, and that time Hawaii was indeed a state. So that makes Barack Obama a U.S. citizen. The proof of the newspaper article's existence in 1961 is here. Excerpt:

"In fact, the conspiracy would need to be even deeper than our colleagues realized. In late July, a researcher looking to dig up dirt on Obama instead found a birth announcement that had been published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961:

    link

Of course, it's distantly possible that Obama's grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat. The evidence is clear: Barack Obama was born in the U.S.A."

That has already been debunked. That site is also sponsored by a campaign contributor.

The paper that the Birth Certificate is printed on is from 2007 (the border print). The paper (border print) gets changed every year. Which doesn't match 1961.

    There is no State Seal.

Blacks were not referred to as "African" in the 60's. Birth Certificates at the time stated "black" or "negro".

All of this was presented in court.

I have no idea what type of paper should have been used for each year. Your links don't know either. They don't say "for 1961, this type of paper was the official version with this border." So how do they know which one was supposed to be used?
There is no State Seal.I know nothing about the state seal being not there. The link you provided shows a picture of someone holding a copy with the seal on it. If you scroll down, you can see it.
Blacks were not referred to as "African" in the 60's. Birth Certificates at the time stated "black" or "negro".If his father was from Africa, why would they call him "black" or "negro"? That makes no sense at all. It says "mother's race- Caucasian", father's race-"African". Why would they then say "baby's race- Black" or "negro"?
All of this was presented in court. And thrown out for good reason. It's good to challenge it in a court of law and I'm glad it was. But if you believe in the court's justice system, I am not sure how you don't accept that the court would look at it all and render a neutral decision based on what's presented.

A few post up, I asked to just move on. I made a joke. It ended up derailing the thread.

I'm done digging up links. I can't even find the main one I was following when this was all happening.

There is a video with a forensic analizing the document. He pointed out all the discrepancies. There was another one about the witness signatures but I don't remember so I didn't mention it.

Not all of those links are bias. I also followed the websites on the opposing side because i do want to see what that have to say.

My point in all of this is not a matter of who is right or who is wrong.

The court didn't rule one way or another. They just threw them out, ruling that private people have no right to challenge the Constitutional validity of government officials.

Of course, there have been other brow-raising events afterwards that begs questioning. I find all of this interesting. Especially the secrecy involved. Plus another Bill that is being pushed to reinforce the courts decision. Georgia was trying to pass ID to be shown when voting and Eric Holder (why?) stopped it. At least it passed in Oklahoma.

I just wish if this was all shit, then the court should have ruled it as such. They didn't, which proves niether side right or wrong.

Please understand I am merely curious, it has nothing to do with D or R. Same goes for 9/11 questions, the Holocaust(TM), Pelosi v CIA, manpigbird flu, Tami-flu owned by Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney building an oil pipeline across Iraq to the ocean trying to cut off the Russians oil pipeline being build, Federal Reserve Act of 1913, etc etc.

There is enough information to cause concern, especially when no official answers are provided, you know what I mean man?

So was your joke a "bait joke"? You know, like when you claim I say "21%er" just to bait people?

Or were you just saying it because you thought it was funny?

If the answer is number #2, now you understand why I say "21%er". That, and because at the time, it happened to be true. The polls changed so I don't say it anymore, I try to keep it relevant. It's not for "bait". If someone is a fish and bites, that's their hangup really, not mine.

It's not to get into a insult contest. I take it for truth when the description of this forum is "if you are easily offended by opinion, don't enter". It's to discuss the poll and figure out why only so few people drink that particular brand of Kool-aid. If someone has a stroke because of something a person says about a political gauge, they should be in the "Hello Kitty" section discussing emotes.

It's why they say don't discuss politics and religion with people who can't take it.

But I'm not using my joke as an insult to anyone here. You make it sound like Republicans are freaks and retards.

I'm not going to get sucked into this. I really don't care if you two sides fight it out really. I bow out, you win, good night.

You just like to talk about Obama and people who follow him or say they like/trust him in such "glowing" terms, lol.

You probably should reread your own posts in that regard to Obama, my friend. :)

On a related note, I like the artwork. They've got Obama's ears down pat. :)

Yes but his short sighted naive policies will not lead us to ruin for some time. This has been the fate of every leftist government that has tried what he tried. Things look ok at first, but then reality sets in and things go horribly wrong. Lets review shall we.

Un-necessary stimulus package that hasn't even really began to take effect yet and the economy is turning. He was too weak to put a stop to what eventualy became the Pelosi/Reed lets get all of our pet projects in one shot package. Result 800 billion printed of new dollars.

What will this plus all of the other un-needed spending result in? Tanking the economy when it is in weak recovery. Folks the mortgage rate is tied to the 10 year treasury yield, and guess what? The 10 year treasury yield is sky rocketing because of the huge amount of bonds the government is having to sell to finance this madness. The more common something becomes the less it is worth the harder it is to find buyers. In order to sell this crap they have to lower the price which increases the yield. Since the mortagage rate is tied directly to this guess what? Mortgage rates will sky rocket just when the market seems to finally be turning. The mortgage collaspe was at the center of this problem, and his craptastic over spening is going to re-ignite it just when things are finally getting better, and yes the mortgage rate on a 30 year as already gone up a hole point in a little over a month (which is insanely fast).

Now lets take a look at his idiotic energy policy. He put a stop to oil drilling, new coal mining, and one of the most efficient means of generating power nuclear. What has he done to replace this void? Nothing. To top it off his cap and trade non-sense will cause the price of energy generation to sky rocket. Now to make matters worse he is making us more dependant on foreign oil than ever because he feels more for trees and fish than he does the economic health of the stupid people that elected him. What is the end result of this? So we got a tanking dollar as a result of overspending by the government and increased relliance on foreign sources of energy because he doesn't want to hurt trees which further tanks the dollar. What has this bought the European Socialist $5-10 a liter gas. Thats liter folks which is like a quarter of a gallon. That is where Mr. Obama is leading us with his stupid energy polices. It's all good though thanks to him forcing Government Motors to build little econo boxes you will all get to pay entirely too much money to drive around in crappy little cars to make his tree hugging base happy. Guess what else your utilities bills are going to double or worse. I sure hope that $8 dollar a week tax cut he gave us can cover that. Basically it makes him a lier about raise taxes on poor and middle class Americans. All hail Cap and Trade and the end to a compeititive U.S. industry that will result from it.

What is really mind-bogging is we have a 200 year supply of oil shale underneath the Rockies. Even socialist further left Canada is smart enough to take advantage of this, and their oil sands are only half has rich as what we have! God forbid if we should tear up a few trees digging it out of the ground so we can be independent of those nuts in the middle east.

I can go on and on, but you no what? It's a waste of my time to piss and moan too much about the madness that most American's have unleased upon themselves by electing this naive socialist.

In part two we will review his kiss ass foreign policiy of trying to apologize to the world for our success. Why should we apologize for having been the best? This goes hand in hand with him trying to tear us down through his idiotic policies.
