Not able to play today?
I was playing Aion last night, but today, I cannot get into the game. I am on the US servers, but I cannot even get the client to open. The NCsoft updater doesn't seem to work, and when I skip it, Aion hangs for a while, and then gets some sort of error. I then force load it, and gameguard sits there for a while without loading, and then the whole thing crashes out, and it opens up some gameguard support page. Anyone else getting this?

Im seriously having second thoughts on the game because of gameguard....yesterday I went through hell and back to get the stupid ERROR 114 done, played perfectly fine and enjoyed it. Now I can't even get the game to open on even though I've done NOTHING.....honestly.....the reason this game has so many bots is because of gameguard. Every game I have ever played that uses gameguard always f*cks on me ALL.THE.TIME.
If I get an error every single time I try to play Aion like this....Im not even going to bother unless they get rid of Gameguard.
Try launching the launcher as an administrator.

The OP isn't the only one having the problem..I was playing earlier, tried to get in again and the patcher is not working. So can't get into the game as of right now.
I can't seem to be able to log on today either. Something wrong with the launcher.
I only have one login, and that is the administrator account. Also, as I said, I was playing just fine yesterday. The gameguard error that I am getting is 340, but it is not just gameguard since the ncsoft launcher is busted, and Aoin has to be force started. Are all the patch servers in the world down at the same time, or what?

Ok, and where was it stated that the patcher is down? And why is the NCsoft launcher, Aoin patcher AND gameguard patcher all down at once? Seems a bit messed up. Especially since it is not noted anywhere.
Just chill. lol The game is in closed beta. Just be happy your able to play.

That's probably a server issuse on NCSoft's side. Just waita few hours and try again later and if its till doesnt work you can either not play today or you can file a bug report.

E smack? This is not an english class to use punctuation nor grammar. I am not even gonna spend my time nor my brain to show how dumb you are. go watch porn for a bit, mastrubate once or twice go take a shower come back adn game works. Its magic bro.
I like how you say you don't care, and blah blah blah, and yet you spent triple the amount of time to make that post, and get 80% of your errors fixed, lol.
Anyway, I appologize to all of the people that I FORCED to come in here and read my question. What an ass I am to ask if anyone else is having a similar problem, to try and rule out anything on my end.
Your first mistake was not positng in the proper forum. There is a beta forum for testers. Had you used that forum, you'd know what the problem was. Nevermind the log file the launcher creates when stuff like this happens.

Actually, on the front page, it refreshes itself every 10 seconds, and shows the last few posts on the forum.

Check the email that was sent when your account was accepted for beta. All the info is in it.
And the launcher is not messed up. The launcher is looking for the patch servers and is timing out.
Anyway, it looks like we're back up. I suggest you use the beta forum from now on. You are expected to report problems there and not here.

of course there is a limit to the amount of keys. they have one beta server. so what did you expect, and it has nothing to do with damage control and has everything to do about testing the game, finding bugs and reporting it in the correct site.

This is a *Closed Beta* event. There will be a couple of those and then we will get an open beta. Check the beta forums, everything is there.
