Hi i know agility is the main scout-asassin skill Ratonga have the highest agility 30 but strengh is 10but half elves have high agility 25 with strengh 17 which is higher. I know assasins will have high damage out put but does strengh realy add alot more damage or is sacrificing strengh for agility the way to go ?

Play whatever race you think is coolest. If you pick a half efl because it has 5 more str then the ratonga but you like ratongas better , go with the ratgona cause after youve put coutnless hours of work into your character and have high end gear that fills any stat gaps would you rather be stuck with a race you really like or one you sortve think is cool but picked it at first because of the 5 more str.
You might have a little bit harder of a time leveling at first but once you get up in levels it will hardly seem like a differnce unless you pick a race that is completely gimped stat wise for your class.

Oh, I have a good answer for this question straight from Moorgard's mouth. It's in Ask SOE#22. I'll copy and paste it for you.
Deathstryker: Speaking of combat, how does each stat determine combat damage for the different classes? Does agility or strength govern combat damage for a scout for example? If both do, which attribute factors in most?
Steve "Moorgard" Danuser: The only stat that skews melee damage is strength. This is the same for all archetypes, including scout.
To sum it up for you, the more STR you have the more damage you do. AGI does not affect melee damage whatsoever. I suggest you play whatever race you like since you can get +STR or +AGI items later on to improve whatever stat you're low in.
I think moorgard said once that a difference of ~5 STR will have more of an impact than in EQ.
Also, the majority of your damage will come from skills, which is where AGI comes into play with scouts.
