Im not suprised those racist pigs won 2 seats. Only just might I add, 1% lower and they wouldn't have won any.

Still 100% more supporters from the last election. General Elections are next year am I right?

    I'm giddy, I can't wait.

Rofl the BNP will not win a seat, The Conservatives will simply take their vote because they have a more realistic chance of winning then the BNP, the Conservatives are simply a watered down version of the BNP, so yeah....

"The BNP will not win a seat". Gee, I wonder when I heard this before. Was it from the same talking heads on the BBC freaking out tonight lol? You don't even know how much I enjoyed their QQ.

I'm sure the Cons will screw something up within a year. They'll suffer the Labour Party's fate.

They won 8% of the TOTAL VOTE they need A HUGE INCREASE in votes to get anywhere, i would say atleast 50% or they won't get anywhere even they do get elcted. Secondly, European elections are not taken as seriously as General Elections as it is seen as an opportunity to give the government a kicking as seen by the votes. You really don't know anything about how it works in Britain, don't pretend you do. I have studied voting behaviour (Psephology) in the  UK and believe me they won't win a seat.

I would be utterly gobsmacked if the BNP got anywhere in our next general election. However I think it goes to show just how disillusioned the British public have become with our Government, and with the deplorable state that Labour will be leaving us in.

Not saying the Torys will do any better, but I honestly can't see how they'd do any worse at the moment. What I want more than anything at the moment is a Government with some balls, a Government who aren't afraid to say "fuck you" when they need to, and to let people just get on with their lives, and make their own mistakes without micromanaging us.

Whats even more disturbing is that the European extreme right holds %10 of the EU parliament.

They are very anti immigration which is probably why they got soo many votes.

    Another sad day in politics.

It's really sad to see another country that has deserved a reputation for a tolerant society to see people vote pure out of discontent about the current goverment.

Yeah, I watched the crybabies on BBC give that excuse too. In fact, those were the exact words used. Sad.

And I thought the media over here was one-sided, you guys blow the doors off that one.

Anyways, BNP/UKIP, makes no difference to me really, they are both for what I'm interested in.

I wonder if bags are being packed as we speak.....

Oh, what do you guys think Gordon Brown is going to do this week?

I keep seeing lots of different things, what do you Brits think?

He'll probably stay and stuff, though in all honesty he should leave to give Labour a better chance winning the next election. Also, read through the BNP's policies before blindly supporting them..they're strictly anti-immigration, anti-muslim, anti-gay, anti mixed race etc..

    ?

I wouldn't bother mate. He has read through them. He's a white supremacist.

You are incorrect, they have less supporters than the last elections. They got more seats but had less votes.

It's BNP votes that are up, it's that the other votes are all down more.

When Brown leaves there will be an election. I can't imagine Labour winning one for another 20 years now.

Yes they are anti immigration against illegals not people who come here through the legal way.

No. They are very anti-legal immigration. They wish to leave the EU to stop it.

Most of the immigration here isn't Muslim, it's Eastern European. Our open border policy within the EU is the legal source of 90% of our immigrants. It's an immigration issue that none of the mainstream parties are willing to address. They all wish to clamp down on illegal immigration, but none of them are willing to to change the law that allows for the legal mass migration that is overwhelming us, because it would involve our leaving the EU.

UKIP do however allow black people to join their party.

The BNP are more than ahppy to accept any legal british citazen to join the party as long as they pass the BNP's rigourouse admission controll.

I.E. You can join as long as your skin is white.......lovely

Ya know, I seem to remember that Germany had the same kind of platform back in the 1930's and 40's as the BNP does. Do you support them too viiiviii?

    Racist much?

So I started to walk into the water. I won't lie to you boys...I was terrified. But I pressed on, and as I made my way past the breakers, a strange calm came over me. I like the UKIP, I hadn't considered them to be a racist party.

A bunch of drunken tory toff's maybe, but I hadn't made any racist connection.

    The BNP certainly is.

There is nothing wrong with the BNP and UKIP.

They took seats because there are people that like their policies better than the rest.

I can't even congradulate a party for a historical win?

Stop derailing my thread with silly liberal troll QQ.

Are the parties in your country also a facade for a single, underlying, secretive organization that runs your government?
