I played CoX for a while, started out nice but began a down hill slide and didnt stop beginning with Issue 4. I tried CoX again during the anniversary free week recently and its just as bad as when I quit a year ago.
As WickedJelly has said in his posts in this topic every MMO has an ugly underbelly lurking beneath the surface. Ive found it doesnt take much to expose it too.
The community in LotRO is really no different from any mainstream MMO Ive played and that includes WoW. If there is one difference its that the LotRO fans keep saying what a great community LotRO has, I guess they think if they say it enough it will come true.
My subscription ended yesterday but I'll resubscribe this week, the next update is in a month and I would like to see how that it.
