No. I play MMORPG's, however I don't invest in them. They're a bad bet and more fail than succeed. If the game releases, I might buy it after I get a chance to see how things go. Sure, i know, they're underfunded and can't complete it. Not my problem.
I respect your logic but I don't think that many developers will be making another game like this for a very, very long time, especially due to Darkfall's experience. It's unfortunate that such an ambitious project was attempted by people like Aventurine, because it really puts a stain on this format of MMO. Hence the people wanting to support this project.
I wish that Star Vault could find a cheap way to promote their project; I say interviews work pretty well, and it seems like it would be a good fit for this website.
Have you even tryed Darkfall? Or are you jumping on some troll hate wagon?
I gotta say yes I will be preordering the game depending on if I have the extra money ill go with LE if not ill get the Box version, but anyway for the people that come in here just to voice that they think pre-ordering to help Star Vault with their financial problems is stupid, than so is letting a friend borrow money from you or investing in a stock. Its something you can't see the future with and theres a chance it will fail and a chance it will succeed. To me the fact that Star Vault has actually approached their followers and asked for help is a huge difference in any MMO I have followed, like ppl have been comparing dark fall and this game. I have played Dark Fall in CB right before launch and I thought it was Horrific and not just that when I voiced my opinions about some of the things I saw wrong with the game I was shot down not just by the community but also the Devs which is obsured.
Im pretty curious to see how the pre-order situation will go.
We know this game so far does not have the "following" Darkfall did at launch. Will the preorders sell out immediately ? Will their server be able to handle that type of load? Maybe the preorders wont even sell out in the first day.
It will be interesting to see what kind of userbase MO has. Also, the word is that the NDA will be lifted for the preorders. Not sure if it will be on the 29th or the 6th.
I will be preordering a LE edition so long as the price is reasonable. Otherwise, I will purchase a digital copy. The game could go well or it could go badly. I honestly do not believe that the game will be finished upon release. With that being said, I will be investing in the vision and the honest development team.

You can take care of that real fast. Just spend the next 2 months in every other forum and post how MO will " Kill WoW " and be the next greatest thing, since butter.

And i wont pre-order Mortal Online.
no pre-order here
BestSigEver :P
i will make my decision after i see some of the REAL GAMEPLAY footage yet..
there're so little REAL info on the combat/gameplay, who knows if it is another Dark and Light
i wish Mortal will be as good as Shadowbane
you can pretty much exactly see how combat works in the trailer
I'm probably gonna do it
But I don't know what comes in the LE Box
When I find out, I'll decide which box to get
