Ok, everyone and their mother is gonna play WoW, no question there. Now, as soon as that red tape is cut, and ppl start playin the game for REAL, are we gonna have like thousands of players ALL doing the beginning quests at the same time? I see JuniorX vids and when he starts there are maybe 2-3 other new characters in the same area. Is it possible that the population could get so huge initially that it would be hard to complete 'kill' quests cuz there are so many other ppl tryin to kill them b4 you?
Granted over time this would thin out as you get into the higher level content, but isnt this gonna be like a marathon at first? With people all bumpin into each other and gettin pissed cuz they're cuttin you off, racing for a position. Eventually everyone gets evenly spaced, but MAN...I just picture inital chaos...like a sale! You know when a huge sale is announced and...(goes off on another analogy...).
Seriously though, does this happen?

Waiting to tryout WoW!
The chances are very good that some of the things you just stated are going to be issues when the game releases.
If however they provide enough servers at launch to spread people out a bit it should be ok. Also no matter how difficult it will be in the beggining it is imperative that if you are going to play this game you get in early instead of waiting for the rush to be over.
The best experience you will have in an MMORPG is at the very beggining when everyone is starting out as a REAL newbie. After this phase is over all the "new" characters you will see will actually be mostly twinked alts or people whose guilds are providing all of their equipment at low levels wich will leave you trailing behind. IF you want to feel that you are starting on a level playing field then buy it at release and get in there and play.

Well I know the NE noob area was kinda crowded the first few days of the stress test. So my guess is it will be crowded for open beta and retail as well. Unless there is no pwipe after open beta. Whch means all the open beta people will already be spread out.

Absolutley. At the stress test I was laughing so much. I was in an undead village (along with 100 other players) and about 50 were doing the same quest as me. Everyone was running around houses looking for these zombies. Each house i walked into there would be 2 other people standing there saying "Move out, we were here first!" (Except in bad grammer because the community in this game were most likely 7)
Then once most of the people finished the first quest, there would be tons of people all running into the cave now where their second quest was. And so on... Until around level 5 most people split up.
