Server Choice: Assuming Worlds Like FFXI

in Final Fantasy XIV

Which FFXIV server would you be playing in?

This subject got me a bit curious. Let's assume the following:

FFXIV servers would be a lot like FFXI servers: they would have the same names as FFXI servers, and they would all be cross-regional and cross-platform.

I apologize if this subject is not as interesting for those who never played FFXI. I included a poll just for fun. :)

    I think I will look for a guild before it comes and out just follow them.  I have a friend joining as well who i will ask to follow me.

    Same here, and when more info is released I'll be getting closer to opening my own LS if thats what they are called again!

    All my friends who originally played FFXI back in about 2003-2004 will be coming back to play FFXIV, so wherever we decide to go all of us will be.

    Coming from shit hole Asura on FFXI I can only look up so server won't matter to me

    Will have lots of friends coming back for FFXIV so what ever we chose. LOL last time we picked based on what letter was most in our names. Very random but fun no the less was a great server. It was Midsardsormr

    Playing Rift

    Waiting for FFXIV to be the game it should. so sad =(

    LOL I was on Asura to. I played FF XI for the first two years that it was released in North America. Name on Asura was Killuminati.

    Probably the highest population server just so I have the best chance for making friends having people around ect. But If I found others to form a guild with or something I'd join them on their server.

    I'll probably join a LS/Guild first, go with them.

    If it were to be left up to me, and they had similar basis in the game, I'd go with Odin or Carbunkle.

    Im starting with a lot of the people from my previous guild/friends basically most of Gilgamesh :P
