Where is the best place to pre-order EQII from based on this....I want the game in-hand the day it's released. Please use the poll, but further remarks are welcomed. Thanks. image

Brick and morter is by far the best for me. Online store are good if I am not terrible dependant on when the item will get to me. Not that I have ever had a problem getting stuff, I got all my comp parts online. But, I know the actual building store will have the game when it comes out, at least they better damn had. Something being sent by mail can be delayed which would suck if it soesnt show by launch. Well, unless launch gets dicked up like SWG in which case it wouldnt be a big deal. Also, I got the CC disk like two weeks before it should have been out because I went to a store. I havent heard of anyone ordering on line getting the disk sooner than when they were supposed to, not that it didnt happen, I just never heard anyone say it.

Local Store all the way. Most let you pre-order by dropping as little as $5 - you pay the rest when they get the box in-stock. That and the fact that FedEx and UPS tend to loose/mis-deliver/break about 1 out of 5 of my deliveries. ::::07::

The only reason i may pre-order online is that gamestop said that they will not have the game until the 16th. So like everyone else, I want it on the lauch day.(Though this may be later then the 15th if stuff with SOE comes up.) There is going to be a group of us gaming on lauch day and i dont want to be the only or one of the ones left out in the cold.

Its too early to pre-order without making a decision based on experience with other open betas coming.

EB is the only place I use to pre-order games.  I have found that the EB near me has all the games the day they are released.  So no waiting and good service.
