have you bothered trying to learn anything about the game at all? because it doesn't look that way. Doesn't even look like you read the article....either you don't know anything about tabula rasa or you don't know anything about GA.

My friend in alpha speaks highly of this game, in it's current stage, and there is more coming. From what I have read on the forum's I am really going to enjoy this game I think. Anyone interested in this game check out the "What we know" thread (http://forum.globalagendagame.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=71&t=2888 ) on the offical forums for solid "get to know this game" type of information, it will give you some good information about the game and you can learn more from there. Also the in-game voice apparently works wonderfully and sounds amazing, it is TS3! Really looking forward to this game, hope I can participate in this beta coming.

    Lost me at ...

" you cannot shoot and fly at the same time… "

Why would you take away the best part of Tribes? You bragged about how  this game was the best since the amazing Tribes game, then you turn right around and say somthing like this. It blows my mind that any game developer would TAKE AWAY anything from such a great theme. Shot jumping was a skill !

This is a huge problem with game developers. In nearly every part II game out, they always remove key features that made the game fun in the first place. Ever notice how the TOP best games are always the first release?

I know this is not a new Tribes game. I am just using your example...

well clearly not everyone agrees with you. the author said himself that he didn't like jetpack shooting in tribes.

Including something like that could dramatically change the gameplay. Hi-rez probably just wasn't looking for that kind of play. I'm sure they tried including it at some point, but found that they didn't like the results.

I played TR.  And from what I DO know about GA, GA seems to me to be Tabula Rasa 2.0, with upgraded graphics, more armor suits, and a re-orientation of player attention.  Instead of fighting off-world against some aliens, now we're fighting against each other on this world.  Sounds a lot like clan pvp from TR to me.  Not only that, but the class system sounds like its gearing up to be NEARLY IDENTICAL to the tier based graduation system that TR had (i.e. Soldier - Support -> Commando, Grenadier -> Spy -> Sniper, Engineer, Medic, etc....).

The only real difference is that they got rid of all the hocus-pocus and the Logos altogether.

Show me documentation that proves me otherwise.

well first of all, the leveling is not tier based, and im not sure where you picked that up. You pick a class and level it up with a skill tree like with mostly any other RPG, with ability to spec to multiple different roles within the class as you see fit.

Also, and this is important,  there are no dice rolls in GA and no autoaim. It plays more like an arena shooter, relying on your character's spec and gear, but heavily on your skill as a player.

And from what I can tell, AvA will not be like TR clanvclan. Like I said, there is a 45 day campaign where a large number of agencies who belong to several alliances fight with each other in instances and gain/lose territory, represented by hexes on a map. Each agency can keep their own territory, and the territory sticks with them even if they switch alliances. And this appears to be the main focus of the game, from where I stand.

Unfortunately I can't say much else because I play neither GA nor TR. But I am capable of using google and doing minimal research, which I strongly suggest you should try before making any random statements with no evidence :/

EDIT - go to the official site, globalagendagame.com and look at the frequently asked questions (answer center). You'll learn a lot. If that isn't enough, go into the forums. There should be some helpful stickies in the general discussion section.
