Perhaps Ive been gone too long, but did I just see a Mountain Dew commercial with WoW chars fighting in the store?

Yes you did really see WoW chars on a Commercial. The commercial was for the new Mountain Dew WoW Game Fuel, you can now choose to drink Horde Red or Alliance Blue.

When a product reached a certain point of popularity TV and radio commercials advertising that product is inevitable.
Everquest had TV commercials back when it was king of MMOs.
Also, when a product reached another point of popularity cross promotions are inevitable. Its good business for both parties. Its money for product publisher and its an audience that cross promoter may not have had access to before.
I hate Mountain Dew, I never drink Mountain Dew, but I did buy both WoW versions out of curiosity.
So, I wonder what people like Kyleran would say if it was a different MMO, lets say Eve, with a Mountain Dew cross promotion. Would he be all like "oh, its the end times" or perhaps "a radio commercial for Eve?! Awesome!!!"?
Eh, nothing surprising or new about it, there was a WoW Coca Cola Commercial in China/Korea years ago when it launched over there! Personally I like this one better, cause of the asian girls...hehe!
I had been told about the WoW mountain dew before seeing the comercial and was quite surprised that they made such a thing. I don't really care about how they market the new flavors, and only care about how tehey taste. I was told the aliance one tastes a lot like the taco bell baja blast mountain dew. If thats the case it wouldn't be so bad.
