in Final Fantasy XIV

I want the graphix and engine of Aion

I want the world,imagery, theme, classes, jobs, and spirit of FFXI

I want the RvR of DaoC

I want the polish of WoW

I want the housing of UO

I want the PvP of Warhammer

I want a state of the art MMO where I can play my way with any class and form a community!

    One of my fondest memories of FFXI was the slower paced fighting. I didn't it terribly difficult, but in WoW (the game I'm playing now) when I raid in 25man raids, the colors of spells and the AoEs covering the ground are simply too much too pay attention to. It's like sensory overload. Aion's engine looks really "in your face" to me, and I'm not sure I'd like to see that.

    To a point, I agree with Khrymson. There are problems in WoW but the constant changes to classes are to try and keep them as balanced as possible. I like how the developers are often vocal about their work and often seem to be working on the "next big thing". If anything, I would like a similar support team working on FFXIV.

    I don't think it's fair to say you want to play any class your own way. It makes no sense for a White Mage to tank, or a Warrior to be the groups healer. WoW has it...sort of...in terms of having different talent trees. A priest can do damage and so forth, but I think the selection of a job is supposed to fufill a specific role in the game whether you solo or group up.

      Add to that, i want the rolling combat bar and FPS mechanisme of Spellborn combined with the huge number of skills from Guildwars, and i can follow you...

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
