Redwall MMORPG game. C what u think..

Hey im very new to the website as u can see from my profile..lol. Anyways i just wanted to post this and see what the response would be. I have always wanted to see a mmorpg game of the redwall book series since i read the books as a kid. I think if put together correctly it has much potential. The format for class and races has already been established by the books. All one would have to do is put a story line together. For those that dont know what Redwall is: it is a legacy of bout 21 books involving regular animals fighting epic battles and living heroic lives...lol.. Yes it does sound cheesy. But the books r very well written.

The classes u could use r just like the books

Good Guys

Mice

Squirrels

Otters

Hares

Baddies

Weasels

Foxes

Stoats

Rats

 

I mean u could go like WOW and have a good and bad alliance. There are a variety of different ways u could do it.. I think it has huge potential if it was allowed to be created.. Plz post ur thoughts or some other ideas u have on the subject.. If allowed.. i would like some advice on how to get the game started..Or the higher beings i need to talk to that would make it. Thank you for yalls time.

Hey srry to keep posting. But for those who look up this plz look at this. This is some idea that could be used for the classes. Bear with me. I will be using LOTRO to compare to some of these classes. So if i offend any LOTRO players please forgive me none of it was intended. That goes for Redwall fans as well. I would still love some ideas or advice from some ppl that know what to do about given my ideas to someone..

Races- obviously each race has certain benefits and weaknesses than the other. But im just comparing them to some races u might see in LOTRO. Not going over buffs.

Good

***Mice- The most common found race in the world. They would probobly be the most versatile in the game. The class could be playable with both male and female.(They would relate to the class of MEN in LOTRO)

***Otters- Know i know for those LOTRO players they may disagree with this. (But the otters in my opinion would relate to the ELVES in LOTRO). They could be the strong willed most noble class compared to the rest of them. I guess pure would be a good word for this class

***Squirrles- Although they are more far apart than close to each other. I would compare the squirrles to the hobbits. There size is the same. But there strength and versitility is much different.

***Hares- I debated with this in my mind on who to compare them to. (But at the end i would have to probobly relate them to the dwarfs in LOTRO). In the books the majority of the hares where strong and very stubborn.

Bad- Alright there is nothing to compare in LOTRO to bad guys here because LOTRO doesnt really offer a bad race. They do in some way. But its nothing like WOW.

**Stoats- In my opinion the stoats would be the weakest evil race in the game. But sometimes weak i good. While they would have lower health and mana. They could have stuff like stealth, 1 hit KO, or things like that.(Goblins in LOTRO)

**Foxes- the foxes would be sturdy and independent than the other bad races. They could be the loners that just try to mess everyone up. A great solo class. (Brigands in LOTRO)

**Rats- The rats would be like the demons of the mice. Its like dark and light. Mice=good, Rats=bad. They would be bigger and stronger than the mice. but less versatile. Less mana also. This is the class i would want to play if i was bad. (ORCS in LOTRO)

**Weasels- very much like the stoat. Except the weasels would be bigger,faster, stronger. not as strong as rats. But much more intellgent than the other classes.able to wield much of the weapons.(Wargs in LOTRO).

Hopefully if there r many views i will post more about it. Tell everyone plz..:P

I started going to sleep with the book Redwall at the age of 6. I would indeed be interested in seeing its tale take on a new form. But I would not end up playing it any longer than it would take my curiosity to lapse. The Redwall IP is built for children, and frankly, we already have a few too many of those in the MMO world.

Before you forget, the only form of magic in the IP are prophetic dreams, usually in the form of riddles, I think you can drop the mana considerations.
