NEW Projected MxO Release Date

Received an e-mail from MxO about the estimated launch date, it's now been pushed to 02-01-05.

    However dissappointing it may feel to have to wait longer for a game I'm looking forward to, I have to admit, I'm glad to hear this.

    When they're not afraid to bump back the release date (what is it, twice now in the past month?) like this, I feel LESS fear for another SWG-type debacle.

    I say, take all the time you need, it will be worth the wait for the gamer, in the end.

    I really hope that *insert game name here* will be the first game to ever live up to all of its pre-release promises, maintain a manageable hype level and have a clean release. Just don't expect me to hold my breath.

    sorry guys but it was gamestops fluke this is from the offical forums of MxO

    Release Date: January 18, 2005
    Some folks have said they got email from GameStop saying the release date for The Matrix Online has been changed again. I just confirmed with Warner Bros. that there has been no change in release date. We are still launching on January 18, 2005.

    so we are STILL on track for 1-18-05
