Will you leave from Lineage2 to jump into Aion?

 Hello ppl of mmorpg.com forums!

I've been, casually, playing L2 for some years now and I always thought that it has much more grinding than my taste.

After the two beta faces of Aion I'm glad to see that a new game from NCSoft is keeping all the things that I like from L2, without being a L2 clone.

I can't wait for the final release of this game and I'm wondering how many of you are willing to move from L2 to Aion.

I left Lineage 2 with the intention of eventually going to Aion. The grinding had no bearing in my decision, I just didn't like how they were developing it.

hmmm, if anything the harsh economy is probably what sealed the deal for me.

Indeed, I stopped playing Lineage II before the last major update and have been playing the chinese version of Aion to mixed results. Quite enjoyed the NA beta weekends, though it is odd to be back on 1.0.

I always had the feeling that many things in L2 are too hard without any obvious reason. Even some simple things as the job change quests (in the chronicles I was playing) were ridiculously long and extremely boring.

Because L2 is for a few players , casuals are not allowed. This is good for a pvp into progress.  Only that we know what are the real issues on retail.

Tired of this game i will jump into aion coming soon.

I will be playing Aion but I wont be leaving Lineage 2. The only thing they have in common is that they both are Korean. They are not even close to being the same to me. I love Lineage 2 because its still a one of a kind game on the market. There is nonthing else out there like it. I agree that the grind is too much but I recently hit S Grade and subbed and I am still having fun. As long the game is fun for me I will be there.

I just hope when Lineage 3 comes out that they have learned from the mistakes they made with Lineage 2. I hope it will have the same kind of open pvp play style but with a much bigger focus on questing for gear and stuff. Make it  minus the Grind and minus the only way to get gear is by farming mats and crafting because without those we would not have such rampant botting and farming problem.

Canceled L2 two weeks ago for the same reasons as you stated.

I love L2 too and I totally agree with you that is one of a kind, I just don't have the time need to enjoy it... For me it's either use a bot (something that I don't want/like to do) or never be even close to the rest of the ppl I was playing with.
