EQ2 or LOTRO...Trying to Decide - Looking for some help

Hey All,

I'm trying to decide between LOTRO and EQ2...I currently play EQ2 and have a slew of characters in the mid-20's. I'm having fun with it but I can't seem to ever WANT to play, like when I played WoW i would turn on my computer and start it up, with EQ2 i always do a whole bunch of other things THEN convince myself to play, cutting out an hour or so of play time that I would've had with WoW.

Now, I've tried LOTRO many times and it's seems interesting but I only played it for a few days then quit (I was playing WoW and wanted to give it a try, maybe that's why).

Anyway, I'm just looking for some people that have played both to give me their opinions, obviously i'm looking for a PvE game, but I also want to play the game, not rush to endgame and raid as I'm not really into that stuff. Like one thing that EQ2 has that really intrigues me is the mentoring system, i know LOTRO doesn't have that but is the leveling super fast just to get people into raiding ASAP like WoWs new mentality seems to be?

I also love grouping and hated the fact that my recent return to WoW i can count the amount of times i grouped up from 1-80 on my 2 hands (and i was always LFG with the tool), in EQ2 it seems to be the same way, but the mentoring and level locked i'm able to basically control my own level speed and even go back and do some dungeons I missed out on or wanted to do again.

Anyway, Sorry for the long post (i tend to get carried away) I'm just wondering what other people would think between EQ2 and LOTRO, give me your opinions/suggestions.
