Installing Aion

Okay, I went an picked up a preorder yesterday from gamestop. I download the game client last night from file planet, and tryed installing this morning. I go to install and it doesn't get very far at all before telling me to insert disk 0. Anyone know what to do here?

Are you using a cd version or did you download the game online?.

I downloaded the game from fileplanet, and whent into the folder and used the "setup" feature and it brings up an installer, but then tells me to insert disk 0

That is becouse you probebly dident Extract the file before running it.

If I pay 6.95$ a month for fileplanet as a member can I get into beta still?. I would rather do that then pay the 50$ for the pre order game to get into the beta.

As far as I am aware of Fileplanet is out of beta keys. Also pre-ordering will garentee you get into all the betas, fileplanet keys are for only 1 beta event at a time.

Ah I see. Okay, I am gonna pre order then from Amazon. it only costs 46.99 instead of 50$+ at other places.

Well, It only cost me 5 bucks at gamestop yesterday. I extracted into a new folder and going to see if that works

How did it only cost you 5 dollars?. I went to Gamestop and it says you gotta pre order in order to get into the beta and once you get the code for beta you cannot cancel the pre order.

Just a heads up people pre-ordering from Amazon have been having issues with keys already used.

Some sites sell pre order codes without the game for about a fiver,

still have to buy the full game on release to play

Well, I guess I didn't extract it because that worked. I went to the store and only had to put 5 bucks down for the beta key. I can cancel it at any time I am  pretty sure.
