I hate that amount of fanboysm. "TOR doesnt offer it so we dont need it. It sucks anyway!!!!111" Come one guys. Housing is a great thing if implemented right. No need to make it free to build anywhere but they can include areas where players can build /rent houses. Something like DAoC. Even LoTRo implementation (with multiple instances) is better than nothing.
Personal ship as a form of housing.. hmm. I doubt we'll be able to travel to a hangar (like in a housing area) and visiting houses. I think it'll be something like "you walk into the hangar ...board your ship now? (y/n)" and then be transported into your private ship.
I read this whole thread and don't see anywhere where anyone said "don't like housing, don't implement it". I see plenty of "don't like urban sprawl" and "it has to be done right" posts.
