I tried the scout, mage and priest classes at the start of beta (I am not much of a tanker) and fell in love with the priest. I got to level 13 so far and went cleric at level 10. I LOVE it. I can wear chain, kick some ass and keep myself alive all at the same time. What is not to love?
Interesting results so far, for sure. I'm shocked that assassin is only 6% so far, of course I'm sure you elicit a different response on a forums like this then elsewhere.

Yeah that kind of surprised me too. The class that I saw the most of was Assassins in-game, there were tons of them running around.
I'm going healer, but I'm worried there are going to be too many. Healers/Chanters might be the OP at level 20, but people that role them are not realizing that they absolutely will not OP at higher levels. I'd suggest not rolling a healer just cause you think it's going to win all PVP lol.
They are just letting the need for stealth go to their heads. For every one who did vote on the poll, there are probably ten more.... tons of the fiends.... all lurking in the shadows, ready to stab all of us in the back when we are just about to kill that named mob in the abyss, or finish up one grindy quest or another.
Don't think you've fooled anybody, sneaky bastards! We're onto your tricks! 7.4%, attm? More like 74%, I'd bet!!! (;~_^)
Well, for PvP purposes, I'll be making a Spirit Master... For farming elites purposes, I'll be making a Spirit Master... For raiding purposes, I'll be making a Spirit Master...
I am still not sure if I'm actually going to play Aion, but I have played in the Western betas and because I am so awesome I have the first 30 -days free without having to pre-order. So I should have plenty of time to make up my mind. So far I have leveled an Elyos Cleric to level 20, and I have tried out a few other classes up to around level 10. I really have enjoyed my Cleric and that is how I voted. My other main choices are Ranger and Spiritmaster... I think the main probelm with trials and only usually having a couple days or weeks to decide on paying for a game or not is that so much of the choice has to do with the viability, longevity and fun of the end-game. I love it now, but am I going to love it in three months, or will it become a mind-beding grindfest and boring as hell? anyways, sorry about the tangent, don't mean to derail...

Despite reports that they arnt so great in PvP, or at least not as good as other classes, but seem to enjoy playing tank class in Aion.

cleric
I've got to go with Templar.
I know I'll regret it in PvP due to ranged classes having 1000% advantage.
But I enjoy the class from a PvE aspect. And would be pretty stellar in group PvP I think.
Hey TSW Players http://www.unfair.co/ for Mission guides, Lore Locations and stuff....
Chanter here. I love playing the class in the Chinese release.
Mirrim
Chanter, Spatalos Server
Voted assassin but im torn between that and a Chanter
The following statement is false
The previous statement is true
What he said.
I m willing to bet that half of those rangers wont make it to 50.
Indeed. Rangers are harder and a bit more expensive class to play than people realize.
I have that t-shirt.
My first char will be a cleric. My second will probably be an assasin. Those are the 2 classes I've played and enjoyed the most during the betas.
Chanter all the way!
