Is the new add on any good ?

Hi, i used to play FFXI until i got sickly addicted and a little bored at the same time. Do you guys that play ffxi know if the new add on is any good its calledc chains of something i dont remember and do they have better charfacter  customization for looks now ?

Lol that was how I was. I would play like 10 hours a day but yet I was bored at the same time.

The game will never change unless they totally rewrite the code,even then it still has to be compliable to a totally piece of junk playstation machine,thats equilavent to a pentium 200,my god i'm amazed the game is this great considering.I hope in the future they make a version for PC only,and scrap the pitiful console ideas.Computers have come down so much in price,unfortunately vid cards have not.But still i see no need for consoles anymore at all.Especially since giants like SONY will way overprice them and the dummy's will pay it.The next gen console will prolly be equivalent in price to a newer and average computer,with far inferior hardware.

So before anyone else knocks the looks or other game issues ,remember that its made for a pentium200 console.Should give the coders an award or something.I only wish it was an unreal2k4 engine or a half life engine but its not.IMO it's not perfect by any means but very good.

Ok, unless you are level 40+, don't even bother with this expansion. No new jobs, no new customization. Just new areas and mobs, a new storyline that requires high levels to do. Not worth wasting the bucks unless you plan on taking your job to 75. Wish I could trade in mmorpg software.

Then how come the system requirements for the PC version includes a Pentium III 800mhz? Honestly, you should probably do your research before spouting off random computer specs that you know nothing about. If the PS2 is the equivilent of a Pentium I 200mhz computer, software designed for a P3 wouldn't run on it, now would it?

Besides that, it's not really the graphics that are that bad, compared to the game itself.

lol nice one dude.Heed your own advice and do some research before u even attempt to knock what i said..I'll even show you how.First up,find your yourself the handy litltle google search bar.Now type in playstation 2 specs.Now these might vary a little ,but most will show a system of 294mhz.,with a 4mb video card.Now they did some fancy stuff to achieve a pretty good bandwidth,but still a piece of junk by nowadays standards.And for the second part of your [still lmao]you mention the specs on the back of a gaming box?rflmao...anyone that has been around at all knows they always mean squat.But if you must know,a rating of 800 can mean the game might run on lower and it might not.There are tons of factors from your video card to your ram,bios it never ends.Keyword if you noticed >>>>recommended!
