Back when I used to play Ultima Online, 'gank' was used to describe a 'gang kill'. i.e Being killed by more than one person at the same time.
Now it's used just to mean 'kill' and doesn't seem to make any sense when people say "I GANKED SOME NOOB". I ask you this... who did you gank them with?....
5-NGE: /facepalm. How can people be so pathetic as to torture themselves over a companys bad decision. Game companys have learned some thing by your pissing and moaning. They just throw in the NGE before release. Thumbs up on that accomplishment.
4-WoW clone: Just proves the user has no real understanding of MMO history. Proper usage of clone, would be UO clone or EQ clone.
3-Theme-park: wtf. I just don't get this one. So what if a game caters to idiots that need glowing markers to find their way around. New Flash - Life is Full of These Idiots. Get used to it.
2-Noob: Are we really trying to kill of the game were playing by chasing off new players? What does that say about the person using it.
1-Care-bear: A generic insult that can't be tied down better than "wimp"(imo). Usually says more about the opinion of the person using it.

Uhm, the only game which came even close to EQ's design was Vanguard, no other game is comparable. WoW has some similarities with EQ, but that's where it ends. There are many WoW-clones, few EQ clones, actually none except for Vanguard.
Agree. Eq has full Range Freedom. you can always go any were and do anything. if you have the strength. Really think about how many different places and creatures you could go kill at lvl 1. Eq has no general direction like most mmos.
