Conan forums- error?

I recently bought Age of Conan, and, after beinf blown away completely by Tortage (the noob island), I was massively disappointed to learn, from experience and the internet, that the rest of the game was inferior to it (not in the "let's add 20 gigs of patches and some new content, yay, job well done, it's all better" way, but the "Dammit, we have to rebuild the whole main story quest chain, put in more memorable NPCs, work on the atmosphere, change some fundemental stuff and THEN add 20 gigs of patches and new content" way).

I'm holding out for PvP, though I feel I'm going to cancel soon, and I want to put some suggestions on the official forum (and stay on them once I've cancelled, as the community on the forums seems really lively), but whenever I try logging in with my Funcom account nickname and password, it says that they're incorrect. After clicking the "forgot my password" link and entering my email, I'm told that my email isn't in their database. I've registered my Funcom account and have given credit details, but am still on my free month.

Any suggestions on what's wrong?

When you go into your account at AoC there is a place to setup your forum id.  Your forum id and your account ID will be different.

Sorry, I can not be more helpful now.  My work firewall is too dam smart.

I agree with above, I wager the forum account and game account are different. You may need to register on the forums or elsewhere for access

thanks guys. there's no registration on the forum itself, but i'm checking my account for the option now.

EDIT: Hooray for my awesome eyesight, perception and powers of observation. I failed to notice the obvious "create/change forum login" option on the funcom account management page XD
