Well, all the Runescape fans know year 2008 was the worst year for the game. It single handly convinced millions to quit. And fairly Runescape was a huge game, and now, I fear WoW is soon to fall... New Threads have popped up everywhere on new reasons to hate WoW. Blizzard's silence is testing most of our patience, hopefully the Blizz Con will recover. Hopefully.

I respectfully disagree.
The only good games that are failing are WAR and DFO.

I think the only reason people make Anti-WoW threads is because of mob mentality. They just go with the flow and start to hate it like everyone else. I even catch myself doing it and I had a great time playing WoW for about 2-3 years. Besides, it'll be tough for WoW to disappear until they release Diablo III and their next MMO, that's when subs fall, but like I said, the game won't.
"...these forums are like soap operas"-Nihce
Is not.
Fail, like many other words carelessly tossed around by MMO players is a very relative term. Fail could be not having WoW's amount of subscribers or a temporary drop in subscribers even if the MMO continues on for years. So no, I don't see any great games falling or failing this past year.
Paradox. Good games don't fail.

If i recall correctly the reason people left was because of the wildy and from what i know they now have full pvp servers, let me also remind you less than 5% of the players did pvp on a regular basis from which maybe 3% left?so no it wasnt a bad year but a rather good one with all the additions to the game. But in general i guess these games have lived there golden age.
best one-liner ever
Playing WoW is mainstream, by bashing WoW you show that you stand out from the crowd.
Well, I love WoW, and's that's somewhat true, good games don't fall. But how long could one game depend lonely on their population.
Good games fail all the time due to issues outside of the sphere of controll of the developers.
This is only partially true.
What the devs can affect is the delay of the announcement of the game, so that if there will be many delays it won't be turn to be such a negative thing, because potential players won't even know about them. When it's 99% sure that the game won't get delayed again, then it can be announced.
The devs can also stop hyping the game with things that may not even make it to the game (due to time limitations).
and the people that "likes WoW" posts the "11m" every 4 words
so its no wonder they are associated with sheeps, if thats the first they say about WoW, or when comparing WoW to any other game. you cant blame people for stating teir dislike for WoW and being unimpressed at the sheeps' arguments
Paradox. Good games don't fail.
BINGO!
Paradox. Good games don't fail.
Unless of course they sign bad publisher contracts, and those publishers then decide to jerk you around... Ala TCoS, even if it did too soon it had quite a bit more potential than most games(few skill bugs and missing areanas at release, quickly got put in though).
