The Koraku

pareodpareod Member Posts: 3

The Koraku is the name of our guild. We are a guild based off of the demons of the forest the Koraku. When the Tindremenes invaded the Myrland Steppe, the Khurites were easily defeated do to the countless civil wars. As the Tindremenes were about to destroy the Khurites, the Angaq (Shaman) from each tribe gathered together to summon the Koraku. The Tindremenes were driven out of the Myrland Steppe, and the Khurites were saved. After the war a tribe was established to worship the Koraku. We are an all-around guild, striving to be known in all aspects of the world. As of now we have a website up and running. To visit and apply click here. We also have a ranking system based on democracy, and reputation. The ranks are subject to change, and go as follows:

Lowest - Highest

Tribesmen - The basic rank that all members enter upon. Even though it's the lowest, it is also the most important, as these people decide how we're known in the world by they're actions. To rank up, they can either show-off their strength in the arena, or show a political interest by submitting their opinion in the Tribal News forum on our homepage, or by talking to an Orak. Tribesmen are not soldiers, but can enter in on battles at their own risk.

Orak - This rank are the peacekeepers, and/or warriors of the guild. Their orders vary from defending the guild to conquering another. They are also responsible for submitting the opinion of the tribesmen to the Head Orak. Orak have possibility of being a candidate for the election of Head Orak.

Head Orak - The members of this rank are responsible for their section of the Orak. Their orders depend on the status of their Shoku. They also take the overall opinion of the Tribesmen and Orak and report it to their Shoku. This rank is candidate for the position of Shoku when elections come around. The Head Orak will be like generals on the battlefield, they will follow through with orders given to them by their Shoku, and can take over should their Shoku die. They are selectively allowed in certain chamber meetings, to observe only.

Shoku - The members of this rank are the captains of the guild. Their votes in Chamber meetings are based on the opinion of their sector. Three of the Shoku are the military leaders of the guild. They control the bulk of the Orak that are in charge of conquring other guilds. They give the final words in battle, and what they say is law. Their votes are mainly used to make decisions on external affairs. The other two Shoku are the internal peacekeepers of the guild. They command the guards of the guild. Their votes count for mainly laws that keep peace within the guild. Their section of Orak can be used to defend the guild if need be. They also settle disputes within the guild, and their decision is final unless overidden by the majority of the Shoku, or their higher-ups.

Aku - This position is by far the most difficult, and one of the most important, as it is only led by one person. The Aku is the direct advisor to the leaders. Not only does s/he help the leaders make difficult decisions, but s/he also watches over the entire guild. It is the responsibility of the Aku to remember the opinions of the entire guild when advising the leaders. Although this can be written in few words it is far more difficult than it seems. The Aku can relinquish their position at any time, or when their term ends and someone else takes it.

Angaq - Two of the Angaq from the tribes realized that the Koraku were not the minions of some god sent down to protect the Khurites, but the Gods themselves. The Angaqs decided to start this tribe to worship them. They are the leaders of the guild. They decide who will be the guild's allies and enemies. They take into mind the opinions of their advisors before making difficult decisions. The Angaq are often seen leading their army into battle as any leader should.

No I was unbanned, one IRC moderator said it was ok the other... not so much, I wasn't violating any rules though. You're allowed to recruit, and i wasn't writing it over and over, I waited a few minutes before sending one. Anyways, good luck in your guild :)
