The Phantasy Star Universe has added Guardians Cash System to JP Servers but will this come to the USA? Players can now purchase in-game items with real money. Alot of other online games offer this type of system for players to utilize but the issue is still up in the air and there is no official word from sega of america if this will happen or not.

If it proves to be a great success in Japan then it could well hit western shores. It does seem to be a growing trend recently.
