Just register and download issue 32 of pcgzine and apparently you will recieve a beta key sometime between Aug 1st-5th and yes the registration is free. Good luck!

The magazine tells me to get the key from the box to the left, which is empty. Says I need to download a media player. I tried that and Adobe says there is no media player for my OS (Vista 64).
OH well, thanks for trying.
I use Vista Ultimate 64 and it worked fine.

I have VIsta 64 ultimate too and it doesn't work. The box I need to type in is black. I get a message saying it needs to download the media player . When I try the Adobe site says it can't find the right kind of player.

Blame Microsoft for making Vista. The box you refering to uses Adobe Flashplayer 10. So might wanna try and install that and see if it works if not, blame MS and do what I did... Installed XP sp3 instedd and have no problems what so ever.

I have the Flash player 10 installed and it still doesn't work. Might be a security issue. Loan me your copy of XP real quick?
I'm glad I stumbled on to this. Personally I've been getting a little more interested as the launch gets closer, but I wasn't really looking for a Beta Invite. Unfortunately I feel obligated now to wait out the "maintenance" to snag a key. There is a fairly large group of people hanging out in the Gamerzine.com General Forums waiting for the post to let us know the Keys are working again if any of you are interested. Kind of the same thrill I got from house sitting homes in danger of collapse back in the gold ol' days of UO. Except this time I figure I have a fair shot.
