One thing I wish they would implement and somehow I doubt they will....I wish they would add a /lvl (auto lvl to 60) for anyone that has a 60 or higher so that we could have balance in numbers of classes.
People might roll other classes instead of getting a DK just cause its easy.
If they are going to give the deathknight the auto lvl to 55 for anyone that has a 60, why couldnt they do that for any class?
cuz then every noob would buy a 50 dollar lvl60 account and we'd be stuck with even worse players above 60...which is hard to imagine because skill wise 90% of the wow pop is lacking.

eh just a thought.
The main problem i see if they allow you to instant level to 60 for other class, will be alot of players dont know how to play that class. By level 60 you will have tons of skills, without leveling from level 1 not only you will not know how to use them, also how to play that class well.
So i dont believe Blizz will allow old class to instant ding to 55 or 60...
I do believe there will be a new class, and maybe new race for the next x-pac... Maybe a caster hero class, since Dk is anti-caster..

Whens the last time youve looked at account prices?
The cheapest of accounts runs 200-300 dollars.
Secondly, it worked in DAOC. If you had a lvl 50 charachter you could /lvl a 20 ( auto lvl to 20).
Im not saying I know the details of how this could work perfectly, but it could work.
Even if it did work out with more baddies, they would have to lvl to 80 or 90. Thats 30 lvls to un nub themselves.
And instead of tons of DKs that didnt know how to play, it would be more diversely spread out to other classes.
Regardless, there is always going to be clueless people at max lvl whether this idea is implemented or not.
I sort of agree. Even with recent changes, leveling alts can be painful (and with ~6 70+ chars, I'm more tolerant than most.)
Instant 55 or 60 might be a bit much, but some other form of accelerated growth would be nice.
The biggest pain is that so much of leveling nowadays is still old retail content which just isn't as fun, interesting, or well designed as the newer stuff.
At least they let your high level chars influence your lowbies nowadays, with the auto-scaling gear. Too much of that would make leveling boring though, as you'd miss out on the actual loot progression while leveling.

I think by lvl 40 is when you actually get most of your skills that your gonna be using in everyday lvling and what not and by then is probably when you actually learn how to pvp and stuff so isntant 40 isnt a bad idea.
Im not a WoW fanbois and at times I hate WoW but sadly there is nothing on the market better "For me"....yet.
Your whole post is full of ridiculous exageration.
For one, who said WoW was hardcore?
If you manage to get to lvl 80 from scratch within 3-5 weeks, your playing 10 hours, everyday, nonstop leveling.
As far as Nax goes, everyones got it down so its easy at this point. Your friend didnt have to put in all the work that the people did before him to learn it. Besides WoWs raiding has become easier than its ever been.
/edit Obviously your new here. The wow hate mongering is old and rehashed. Just a fyi.
Sounds to me like you played WoW, got tired of it after a while, then decided to use every annoying slander you had said to you when you were playing it.
MMOs are massively multiplayer online games. WoW fits that description perfectly, it is a real MMO. You sir are just trying to invoke an angry response.
I agree with the assumptions that there are going to be some more classes coming in the last 2 expansions. I don't think Blizz is going to have players playing the same 'old' classes for 4 more years. But I don't think an Archdruid is going to be one of them. An Archdruid is 'simply' a strong druid. Personally, I'd say all druids who've gone beyond 60 can be considered an Arch.
I think the DK was added because Arthas was the main opponent for the players in WotLK, but I don't know who the next expansion is going to be centered around, so I don't have a clue as to the next class.

i once met a paladin who was level 55 and using (i kid you not) his level 1 skills. He was suprised to find out there were trainers in this game that could teach him skills. On the plus side he was quite wealthy up until that point.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds -Solid non level based game -Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
It sounds like that they will add a class and 2 races in the next expansion pack, yes. Particulary if their next MMO is still a few years away because they will have to introduce a lot of new things to make the players stay.
A few years ago Blizzard had very little actual competition but when big companys with many hit games behind them as Bioware and Bethesda enters the market they will have to renew the game or start to bleed players, that is how the game market works.
The question is if they will make another 10 levels or not, constantly raising the level bar is one of the things that made EQ lose so many players, all low level content tends to be a long tutorial instead of actually interesting and fun playing.
But Blizzard will most likely add a lot of new things to Wow, they have no other option.

True. When War is close to release, or after they release? WoW respond by releasing WG, a so-call open world pvp area.
Another area about Blizz is they are being realistic in what their game can offer. They never boost their pvp area can cater to 200 vs 200. They just do the best their game can offer and continue to improve upon that...
Im really looking forward to the next x-pac and see whether they can bring a new kind of gameplay to the end-game..
Back on topic, as someone said previously, Bliz stated one Hero Class per Expansion but it's possible they will have two. If they cut back the amount of expansions they will release to concentrate more on their new MMO they may double up on Hero classes per expansion. I doubt they'll put any new playable races, 5 per faction seems like enough. But as they've thrown lore out the window already you never know, a third faction maybe...
I'd also like to see a Woodworking Profession for the manufacture of Bows, Staves and Shields. The game is lacking that at the moment.

1 new hero class per expansion is what Blizzard was talking about. Brewmaster, Archdruid, and many more hero classes introduced in the warcraft lore.
MMO-Champion jizzed their pants yesterday and stated that Worgen and Goblins would be in the Emerald Dream x-pac.
Races not classes ....
1. Barbie
2. Ken
This way it feels appropriate to stand around dalaran talking about your new outfits everyday.
All I know is that if they introduce a Monk class, I'll resub for the first time in 2 years.
Yeah my bad. I figured that out earlier tonight.
Races are boring though-- give us a couple new classes.
I wish there was another stealther class coming but somehow I dont see that happening.
willing to bet there will be atleast one new class.

What I really think should be added, is the Pandaren Race and the Brewmaster Class.
Really loved Pandaren Brewmaster from Wc3.
Please do not hype any gam.. oh wait, nevermind... forgot what forum I was on.
