Someone may have told you about that "SWGemu" project where a few college students were trying to recreate pre-cu swg. If they ever finish it'll be years from now and there will be about 100 people playing because it'd have to be on a private server. Not worth anticipating imo.

OP, the only way pre-cu will ever exist again is via this topic that we cannot discuss....a bit of Googling will lead you in the right direction, though.

Protip: If you have to find a secret way into an MMO because it's illegally operated, chances are it won't have a large community.

Pro Tip: Private servers are, contrary to popular belief, not illegal. In any country. Owners just bow down when a big dog comes along and says stop. But yes, if you must play pre CU, dont expect to play with a lot of people. And expect a lot of hacks/bots

I believe what he is referring to is that talking about large flightless birds such as Emu is a banable offense on these forums and he is not risking having his MMORPG account banned just to argue with you. The staff here has made it clear in this specific case of large flightless birds called Emu that they do not want them discussed here.

Lol, be that as it may, I don't believe I said anything untrue or completely off base. No such thing as a massively multiplayer well-kept secret. 100 players was an obvious exaggeration, but it won't be like old times.
