Someone may have told you about that "SWGemu" project where a few college students were trying to recreate pre-cu swg. If they ever finish it'll be years from now and there will be about 100 people playing because it'd have to be on a private server. Not worth anticipating imo.

You're so wrong I wouldn't even know where to start, if we were even allowed to talk about this subject here.
OP, the only way pre-cu will ever exist again is via this topic that we cannot discuss....a bit of Googling will lead you in the right direction, though.

Lol what?
So you're saying what I said is true but you're afraid of getting forum banned because it wouldn't be legal >.>.
Protip: If you have to find a secret way into an MMO because it's illegally operated, chances are it won't have a large community.
If I'm completely wrong, I'd like to be filled in.
Pro Tip: Private servers are, contrary to popular belief, not illegal. In any country. Owners just bow down when a big dog comes along and says stop. But yes, if you must play pre CU, dont expect to play with a lot of people. And expect a lot of hacks/bots
Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man!

I believe what he is referring to is that talking about large flightless birds such as Emu is a banable offense on these forums and he is not risking having his MMORPG account banned just to argue with you. The staff here has made it clear in this specific case of large flightless birds called Emu that they do not want them discussed here.
So, if you want to discuss with Whar, you might want to exchange email addresses or take it to another, non mmorpg.com forum.
"Many nights, my friend... Many nights I've put a blade to your throat while you were sleeping. Glad I never killed you, Steve. You're alright..."
Look at the massive servers that some groups run for UO.
3-5k people... nuff said.

"I like wow, I like aion and I like AoC all for different reasons.....the later cause i get to see boobs, but still its a reason!!" - Sawlstone
Lol, be that as it may, I don't believe I said anything untrue or completely off base. No such thing as a massively multiplayer well-kept secret. 100 players was an obvious exaggeration, but it won't be like old times.
True or not is irrelevant. When a privately owned site says it's against the rules to discuss it or you will get banned, you either drop the topic or get banned, lol. And on that note, I'm out of this thread.
o.O

Sorry guys, This thread was created only to continue the argument on PRE-CU. This is all rumors and the thread starter was only looking for an argument. No new useful information was provided. I am going to have to lock this.

You are nothing but a troll. I see that your post has already been reported.
