I just started playing Runes of magic and found it quite surprising. Having played WOW for 3 + years and Warhammer, AOC and others I found this game almost up to par with those. The graphics are good and the interface pretty easy classes are nomal except you can be a dual class quite nice. You get a mount right a away there are some restrictions but what the heck. I have not got into the crafting side of it so I cannot comment on it. My point is for a totally free to play game I did not have to buy it like guild wars and no monthly fee makes it a great waste of time for some easy cheap entertainment. The only downside is everyone is human but that is. In these days where everyone is cutting back if you want to save some bucks you might want to check it out. I am sure it is not perfect but what game is at least it is not costing me anything.

Damm, just found out you get a free house and you can buy stuff for it for free at any level. This is some great stuff.
Yeah, I played many different FREE mmorpg's and in my opinion Runes of Magic has to be the best one I have ever played. On top of that, I had many subscriptions to different mmorpgs such as Ultima, Asherons Call, Age of Conan, WoW, Vangaurd, and more... Runes of Magic is on par if not at a higher level than these paid to play mmorpgs, but that is a matter of personal opinion.
I strongly suggest that people try Runes of Magic out, best of all its free nothing to lose! Runes of Magic has an expansion with a new playable race and two new classes coming out in September just in case you didn't want to be human.
