Judging from the video, you are paying homage to some Nintendo 8 bits games.
Here is a pro-tip:
DON'T!.
These games where real garbage. Only nostalgia meke then looks any good.
Make your own game, how you like it, with whatever your style, not the style from some dude on Nintendo.
this is our own engine.
no idea what this has got to do with nintendo.
we make our own maps, items, quests,... everything.

look like game world set up. or what ever it's called.
but i'll try it out.
Blasphemy ! Opinions like this certainly spring from those who were born in the "graphics over gameplay" age! lol
-no offense
I can name many NES games that are far more entertaining than current generation RPG's.
1. Faxanadu
2. Bard’s Tale
3. Ultima: Quest of the Avatar
4. Final Fantasy
5. Dragon Warrior IV ( The game that started my RPG obsession)
The list is much longer...
As soon as developers realize it's a balance of graphics<gameplay the sooner we get some truly outstanding games to play AGAIN. 8 )
"I'm not cheap I'm incredibly subconsciously financially optimized"
"The worst part of censorship is ------------------"
well said.
a great exemple of this is call of duty...
the newer games have 0 gameplay but only focus on the graphics.
no offence, but i rather play an old fashion mario than some weird game that isn't even fun.

While I have nothing against mimicking old console games (diehard Chrono Trigger fan here), a quick trip to your website told me nothing about the game itself. I saw some screenshots, but that didn't help.
If you want to get people interested in your game, you're going to need a few major changes for your website:
1) Improve the typography. That tiny text makes it hard to read.
2) Add a Features section that describes the best features of the game.
3) Add icons and colors to help users navigate the website.
4) On your landing page, it should be immediately obvious what kind of game EO is. At the moment, the landing page's only graphic is the header, which tells me nothing about the website.
5) Devote a little money to acquiring a full website. Web hosting these days isn't expensive - only about $5 per month will get you everything you need. Hosts like GoDaddy will usually throw in a free or cheap domain name when you buy hosting.
