As you can tell from my thread post count, I have never posted here before. I have read a great many threads, but never feel the need to say something, until today.
Everyone talks about how they hate WoW killer threads, or how often other mmo threads get hijacked by WoW killer / my mmo is better than your's posts.
There is only one thing that will stop this... ignore them.
What I propose is an all out boycott of any thread that contains WoW killer posts, or threads that have been hijacked and turned into an MMO flinching contest. Either don't post in the thread anymore, or if the thread is still viable, just ignore that person's post completely and continue the fruitful discussion on topic. People wars for attention. They love to see lots of posts and reads in their threads. Stop giving them what they want.
Maybe someday MMORPG will flag "WoW killer" as the bad word to end all bad words, causing an immediate deletion of post contect. We can only hope. Until them, let's do the next best thing.

um welcome to mmorpg.com?
Thanks. I have been here for a long time. It took me a long time to register, then even longer to post. It's not that I don't post in forums, it's just that I didn't feel I had anything to say. I read the forums almost everyday.
I share most people's frustration that good threads discussing any other mmo than WoW, eventually become mmo wars. Worse yet, threads about new mmo's almost always become WoW killer threads. Then all of the good and unbaised information quickly becomes a tennis match of unfounded number factoids and assumptions.
With only 2 posts i would say you been gone along time since 2006...
Some people rob you at gun point..Others will rob you at "Ball Point Pen"
We learned it from watching developers. Ok!!
