Thinking of making a comeback

Just saw that I might be able to bring back my character from the dead.  I played up to TOAU and quit probably 6 months after TOAU.

My first question is, will I feel lost with the Wings expansion and did they raise the cap from 75?  I have 3 jobs at 75(Rng, Cor, War) and I believe my smithing was 92 when I left.  I know I gave all my gil away to friends as well as all my equip cept AF1+2.

I have tried numerous MMOs since and none have kept me longer than a year.  I played on Kujata.

Can someone also give me a run down of what's new with Wings? I raided Sky and began raiding Sea before I quit.

Level cap is still 75.  Some other people on here from Kujata too and i'm sure they will be here soon to welcome you back

The 75 cap is final.  If they changed it they will need to redo a large portion of the game. 

Wing of the Goddess expansion is not hard to get into, in fact it might have made certain things too easy, and I meant easy in terms of ffxi standard so don't expect it to be too easy.

There are quite a bit of content, so it is best if you look it up from websites.

WotG doesn't have a raid area yet, they just have the HNM's. It's mostly Campaign (Like Besieged, but better for the most part) that's focused on. It's more casual content for the most part.

Anyway, welcome back. Don't know your character name, but I've probably seen you around since I've been there forever.

thanks for the wb, i'm waiting on playonline to open up this morning to see if i can gte help to reactivate my character.  starting from scratch sounds tempting but with all the time invested....
