i guess they blew their budget hyping the hell out of this and producing too many developer videos instead of just getting it out the door. Aug 1? Another one bites the dust...

Frumbert I'd suggest making your own mind and reading every bit of info from multiple sources, official and otherwise before doing what J suggests

They spent too much money opening up multiple sham studios and trying to build office buildings. If they had focused on one product (if the plan was to ever actually release a product and not to just collect investor money) they might have gotten something onto retail shelves.
The august 1 deadline is the best thing possible for a stargate game. A possibility that a actual game company, one that knows how to put out products might get the license.

From all appearances, things don't look good, Frumbert. However, given past performances, Whting seems to be a con-man of the decade, though his days may be coming to an end. Who knows?

I really don't see how asking someone to do some research and not take someones word for it is siding with the devs.. and tbh as far as I was aware the devs in most peoples opinions had done nothing wrong.
Agreed. I remember seeing some videos some time ago and thinking "that would make a great game". I wasn't particularly thinking "a great mmo", and ip like the resources developed for something as expensive as an mmo could find light of day in something cheaper for a company, such as a single player or multiplayer console/pc experience instead.
Of course that would be after another 4 years when most people had forgotten all about Stargate...
