CB5 - finally tutorials, cutscenes and english voiceovers

describabledescribable Member UncommonPosts: 407

Looks like a fun CB5 this weekend, already used Bink to open the 3 cutscenes through aion/l10n/enu/cutscene/movie

first one feeds you all the background info, and the other two are prologues depending on what race you pick as a starter choice.

Although it's still patch 1.0, it's nice to see some of then transition finally appearing for a more polished western feel...

aion/l10n/enu/data/help

brings up a whole list of tutorial videos from inviting to equipping mana stones all the way to flying

voiceovers are supposedly added to the little cutscenes you get too (which if anyone's played Aion, is quite a lot... the weird silence during them was always a little bleh)

yeah i know, but it means after this testing phrase we might actually advance a patch or two for the next phase or open beta .... we're pretty much done. Not that it needs much testing a few "all your bases are belong to us" type things, that's about it.

i liked the elyos prologue better but not enough to change me from my asmodian characters
