Excluding Quebec WTF!

Any one is from quebec in here?

Eligibility: The Zboard™ Give-Away is open to legal residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec) ages 13 or older

What the hell is that???? Are we so much trouble?

I am and I'm really disapointed that the residents of Quebec can't participate in the ZBoard 4 EQ2. There is no point to exclude Quebec from the give-away, maybe that most of us speak french, but as you can see, I'm able to speak engilsh as well. We deserve as much as any else the right to participate in this.

I would like to know why Quebec is not part of this give-away

ah haha... wow... since the only people from Canada that won the EQ2 beta contest were from Quebec i think it's only FAIR that they get excluded from the keyboard one! *evil grin*

but regardless... haven't you ever noticed that contests, in Canada, normally exclude Quebec? different rules and different regulations. you'll probably find the fault is related to Quebec and not this site. ;P

There's a reason us Quebecer's get screwed out of most Contests. Our Provincial government wants to control all forms of gambling and games of chance, so there's a certain way that companies have to go about things to get a contest to be eligible over there, as well I think there's a certain tax. It's usually far too much hassle to deal with so most companies don't. Hence we get shafted.

This has nothing to do with Mmorpg.com it's very very very commonplace for quebec not to be eligible for many contests and give-aways. You might as well A) Get a friend in Ontario or Get used to it

Mabey the rest of canada took a vote that quebec dident know about. They all said hmm if dont want to be apart of canada eh!? well then you cant vote, own a car have children, or enter EQ2 contests MUAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAH and then ontario is just laughing the whole time because there the only part of canada the govoernment cares about.

Why would you want to do deal with Zboard anyway?  The candy interest you, I understand, and SoE is very carefull to treat you nicely...however SoE is not ruling everyone(saddly you might say?).

 

But Zboard is ruled by bums!  Dont join their more then discutable ways.  Dont whore yourself to join for the candy only.  And the opposite also happen, contests that are held only here.

 

The reasons:  1 - Local government ENFORCED a fully french version and explanation requirement(which is legitimate, considering SoE pages of I agree stuff is not in french, they could not use it against you here, however you are a Californian customer when you deal with SoE for their part of the bargain and there is no such laws over there,I am sure they would nonetheless provide a french version and give you 1 free warning instead of sanctionning right away unless the offense was terribly wrong if you put it nicely).  2 - Bums are to lazy and dont care enought to do a very simple translation, if they dont care for you as a customer, you should not care for them at all, you are the customer, they are offering a product, if you dont care, they will either adapt or focus on something else.  3 - Racist and all the derivates(language) would not exist in my perfect world, but this world sometimes look a lot more like the World of Darkness then my perfect world!

PS: Who say you need a perfect english to enjoy their services?  Others customers, nobody else, and they are trepassing on YOUR right, tell them to STFU if they dont find your english acceptable and use french!  Even if you dont speak a word of english I am sure SoE will be very happy to provide any service you want, in any language they are offering the services, which include French, Japanese, Spanish, German and prolly MANY others languages.

 

PPS: Zboard = waste of time!
