Hello,
I have some questions that I can't seem to find distinct answers to on the web or mmorpg.com. Any help is appreciated.
1-Can you swap back and forth merc's in your army outside of battle to allow you to experience all the mercs? Or are you set to one when you choose it?
2-Do merc's use equipment in any shape or form or do they simply upgrade there stats/abilities at each level bracket?
3-Can you have multiple of one merc at your disposal? Meaning if I have swordsman A and swordsman B can they be different in how effective they are outside of there level?
4- Do mercs level with you or on there own pace?
5-How many characters can you have per account/server?
6-From what I understand equipment for you hero is upgraded via crafting? So do drops from monsters/boss' only give parts for crafting recipe's?
7-Can you learn all the crafting skills or are you set to a limited number?
Thanks,
Ardathil

1) You can swap mercs in and out, but you need a "Merc Room" to keep them in when they aren't in your party. These cost 650 battle points for a week long one (you earn battle points from doing PvP tournaments), or $5 for a permanent one
2) They use gear. Weapon/Shield, body armor, pants, shoes, gloves, helmet, and ammo, if applicable. Also necklaces at high level. New tiers of gear exists every 5-10 levels (sometimes less, at high levels), and they can go from +0 to +10. +1 usually equals the stats of a gear of the next level's tier. (Like +1 50th level stuff = +0 60th level stuff)
3) Yup. However, you can only have one of a Class C (Beast Tamer, Witch, Lady Knight, etc) or B merc (Spartan, Pirate, Elementalist) in your party at any given time. But you can have multiple basic mercs (Class D) - Sword, Spear, Monk, Viking, Archer, Gunner, Artillery Dude, Shaman in your formation at once. Indeed, that's the in thing now, using two spears and two monks
4) They level at their own pace. Basically they get xp for their actions, kills, etc. However, if you party with someone, the xp is then averaged. So if you don't party, usually your better combat mercs will start to gain levels faster than support mercs. (My Beast Tamer, for instance, is 115, while my Monk is only 104, even though I got my BT at level 44 and my monk at what, 15 or so? He just doesn't attack all that much)
5) 3 per account per server.
6) Most of the gear in the game can be crafted, actually, but you'll probably get most of it (until high levels) from equipment box drops. Some unique weapons can only be gotten from boxes obtained from doing high level dungeons.
7) you can learn them all, and there are a lot. It can take a lot to craft high level stuff, so you are probably best off trying to specialize in a few.
